Great screws, but buy elsewhere and save yourself frustrationFirst of all, ignore the photo and description shown by Amazon for these screws - it's wrong. These are NOT phillips head screws, these are T-Star (aka TORX) flat heads. Nowhere in Amazon's description does it clarify this. I am sure it's because whoever put together the description had no clue of the difference. Kind of like the lack of due diligence on the stuffed and very questionable reviews you'll find on many products. You can try and bring these sort of things up to Amazon, but it's an exercise in futility.TORX vs Phillips vs Single-slotted==========================I much prefer the T-Star heads as this pretty much eliminates stripping and camming out (jump out at a lower torque) of phillips head screws. I have pretty much given up using phillips head screws these days, unless it's a simple project and I already have the size I need. I really dislike and have no use for single-slotted flat head screws and will not use them as they are not good at all for anything requiring the slightest torque and are a pain to center and frequently slip. The T-star heads on the other hand are great and frustration free and pretty much self centering.Personal Use==========I have these screws in several different sizes as I typically purchase a box whenever I need a particular size even if I don't need the entire box for the particular project I am working on as I always find a use later. I always keep a supply of 1 1/4 and 2 inch sizes as I find myself using these sizes the most.They don't bend, they don't pop and they are easy to remove should the need ever develop. They come in different lengths, but I find the 1-1/4 inch fits the majority of my needs. I always order another 240 pack whenever i get under 50 or so screws.

I have been doing wood working as a hobby for 50 years and have never found a better screw. It needs no pilot hole or countersink, They are self drilling with a no slip star head, Don't worry each box comes with a driver bit. .Spax screws are my first choice when not using pocket hole joinery.

Box shipped half full and open. Poor value as the missing screws were not even in a bag. They should ship via a box and only sealed merchandise. My screws both order had the seals broken. Maybe someone is skimping.Luckily the bit was in the box as I was worried. My other order of longer screws were box opened as well. At least that boa was a little more than half full. Product fulfilled by Toolsupply not Hearthshire???

Los compré porque iba a tener que construir varios muebles y como solo tenía un taladro me daba flojera estar cambiando de broca a cada rato.Son útiles, cumplen su propósito pero por el calibre, solo los puedo recomendar para maderas solidas, para MDF, MDP o triplay, tendrás que terminar usando una broca avellanada para la cabeza o sino con la misma fuerza que ejerce, terminará agrietandola.Por lo que no los recomendó para estos materiales, más económico comprar los negros de siempre o buscar un calibre más pequeño.

Estos tornillos son excelentes, valen cada peso. Cero frustración con las puntas de tornillo/taladro y fijan muy bien sin necesidad de hacer un agujero previo. No más cabezas planas o Philips después de utilizar estos.

Excelente producto, los tornillos son de una calidad extremadamente alta, e incluyen uns punta Torx magnética muy durable. Cumplen con su función de autotaladro y autoavellanado
