Long-lasting cordless operation
My reclining sofa sits in the center of the room and my house is old enough that it does not have outlets in the floors. So...it was either drape a cord across a walkway or purchase a cordless power supply. This power supply is a great option. It took a couple of hours to charge initially and held a charge for several weeks before I had to recharge it (mostly one person using it daily). It connects easily and tucks under the sofa when not being charged. I would definitely recommend.

Seamless
This works perfectly, just don’t try to use the USB charger if your furniture has one. Depletes the battery quickly.

Expensive Battery but horrible product and does not work.
Purchased this item for my new electric recliner in order to avoid having cords everywhere. The technician came out from the store to install it on the recliner. It charged for 24 hours and when we went to use the recliner, nothing happened. The battery still had 1 blue light. I wish I had seen the message on Amazon, "Frequently Returned". Now I have to order another battery. This battery cost me $75 which proves that because it costs more, it's better. Do not purchase this battery.

Amazing battery life.
Amazing! I received this battery on February 9th and charged it fully. Today is now March 25th and it's only down to 3 bars. We have this on a duel recliner and might use it every other day to recline and back a few times. Was well worth it since we no longer need to keep the couch plugged in.We don't use the usb ports on the couch for phone charging so that helps extend the life

Died after 4 months (BUT!! Excellent customer service!)
The battery died after 4 months. It was barely used. There’s no way to contact the seller. Don’t waste your money by buying this.Edited: the seller must have seen my review because they contacted me and gave me a full refund. The other battery I bought from them still works so I raised my rating to 4 stars from one.

Great Battery Life
I have two Flexsteel power recliners and a power sofa. After reading numerous reviews on this battery and it's competitors, I bought one to try out. I was concerned with the various comments about battery life. Although it has less storage capacity than others (2200 versus 2500mAh), I felt LAVOLTA was a more established company and I liked the feature of the four charging lights to check performance. As far as out of the box: The instructions, connectors, charger and the battery itself appear to be good quality. The battery was charged about 25% when I received it, and it took about two hours to fully charge. As advertised, if your chair has the common power recliner connectors, this battery will fit and function.Good News: I installed it in the chair that gets normal daily use. (Cycled up and down several times a day, periodic adjustment to the foot and head rest). After two weeks of normal use, I could tell this was a good choice so I bought two more for the other chair and sofa.Better News: After 7 weeks, I kept waiting for the chair to show some evidence of battery failure. I finally pulled it and connected it to the charger. Two of the four lights were solid suggesting 50% of the battery still remained. Again, this is including moderate daily use. I think the main point is that after 7 weeks, the battery didn't fade more than 50%, even on it's own.The Bad News: As far as USB ports, neither of my recliners have that feature. My sofa does, but there is an "on/off" button. I assumed, that if I didn't have anything plugged in to the USB port, it wouldn't matter. I was incorrect!! I checked the sofa about a week after installing the battery and it was dead as a doornail. I recharged the battery and turned the USB ports off. Problem solved. If your furniture has USB ports without a defeat button, I can not tell you how it will function, regardless of whether anything is plugged in or not.The only other minor complaint is that the power cords that came with my furniture have right angle connectors because the socket is facing out at the back (For a flush fit). The connector on this battery is straight so the connector sticks out a bit. It's not a deal breaker, but something to consider depending on your application.Overall: Although $90 a chair, I'm very satisfied with the performance of this battery. Especially since I now know I won't have to charge/maintain them often enough to matter.

They work...For like a day
We used it for our power recliners and it drove us crazy after a few days. Maybe a more powerful one would be better, but this one was weak and didn't stay charged more than two days. We wound up running a cord under our area rug. Not ideal, but at least I don't have to disconnect and re-connect a battery every other night.

Amazing Improvement Over the Original
My wife & I were replacing our old set of furniture. So we started visiting all the furniture stores in our area. We ended up at a furniture store that offered “power” sofas loveseats and chairs. We told the floor salesman we don’t have power in the middle of our living room floor and can’t use extension cords due to it being a trip hazard. He said, no problem, we offer battery packs! We asked how long they would last. He said it depended on how much we used them, but 3-6weeks. Never even thinking we could have powered furniture in our living room, we were excited. So, my wife fell in love with a gray leather set. We had to pay an additional $250/battery and we bought an extra. So, $1000 for the Enouvation E4 (single chair motor) & E6 (double recliner motor-couch & loveseat)For us, they lasted 3.5 weeks. So, in order to avoid a situation where we would be tired one night and not be able to put our recliners down, I had to put a reminder on my calendar every 3rd Saturday to charge these batteries. Then my friend Gerry and I were discussing this short power window. He said he had the same issue and bought these Lavolta batteries and got a lot longer use out of them! He loaned one of his, to us. It lasted from the end of November to the end of March. Talk about a difference! WOW! We went from weeks, to months! The Enouvation batteries are just spares now, for the one day every few months we are charging our Lavolta’s !! We would HIGHLY recommend them!!
