Adequate quality for pricepoint. I needed it to drill 2 holes and it certainly got the job done. Accurate description of size and accurate photos. Perfectly functional and not sits in the tool box for future use, of which it remains capable after its limited use.

The blue plastic jig is rather fiddly and doesn't really add that much to the process, so I've knocked off one star on the accuracy front, but really you don't need the jig part at all. You can easily do that part of the job with a pencil and a ruler... Meanwhile the drill is spot on. It is pretty keenly priced and it works well. When I bought this there were a number of other options that cost far more - but I seriously doubt they would have done any better a job. Using this kit I was able to accurately position, and drill all the holes i needed for my kitchen cupboard doors - and that is what I paid for! So yes it is a winning product.

This has been mentioned elsewhere in reviews (thanks!), but the lip on the jig is only used for positioning the screw holes on the cabinet, not for the hole in the door. To do the hole, you need to fit screws into the end two holes of the jig and adjust accordingly (the hinges I was using wanted the hole to sit in 5mm). You then use the jig to mark the hole before *removing it* and drilling. It's a bit of a naff solution, and you're probably faster measuring in the distance to the centre of the hole (5mm + 35mm/2 = 22.5mm in my case), but you get what you pay for. Bit is excellent as others have noted.

Perfect tool for the job

OK but not the best tool for the job. I had a few kitchen hinges to fit onto some cubbards I made the tool worked OK but as you habe to drill i to the door this was not ideal and not a solution of you have pre painted doors. I have not replaced this with one that clamps to the door and dosent require being drilled to secure it. This tool is ideal dor a DIYer on a budget but if you are panning on doing several doors this is not the tool for you.

Fast and easy purchase and delivery. Good value for money. Easy to use and did a good job, perfect fit for the cupboard hinges. Good DIY tool, but not sure of it's durability if used professionally.
