Just what is needed with newer laptops with only usb c type connectors particularly if you use a dongle type mouse and/or hdmi monitor.

I Brough this item so I could connect my Dell laptop to the charger and a second monitor. When connecting I get a message saying this device is 55W. I can still use it but it’s a slow charge, not sure if this will damage my Battery?Product is very well built and sleek looking. Good price point.Darren (London)

Nice neat design and seems to do what it says on the tin. You cant ask for more that that.

Tried with galaxy tab a7 which uses usb-c, not micro-usb as has been suggested here.When the adapter is disconnected from a power source (so powered by the tablet itself) it seemed to work fine. connected usb's working. However, when connecting a usbc power to the adapter it acts funky and devices disconnect. The tablet then reports 'check your charger connection...'. This happens regardless of whether fast charger/normal charger input. Sadly will have to return as this was the intended use. As a side note, it worked normally with a galaxy phone that uses the exact same connection and charger. so the issue seems to be compatibility with the tablet.

Bought this to use with my MacBook. The USB ports seem to work fine but the HDMI when used with a dual screen causes my MacBook screen to flicker on and off.

It looks good but unfortunately adruptly stops working in-between and need to take it off from the laptop and reset to work

Really good product

Connected laptop to monitor with HDMI connection and used the USBs for other devices. Just the right amount of USBs for me. Ideal for working from home.
