Swan4 Slice Retro Toaster (Blue)

This is a good toaster. I’m writing this review because I spent two hours trying to buy a toaster the other day. I would pick one I liked the look of, and then I would read the reviews. And they were all about the horrible toast, that they didn’t fit Toastie, they were all awful. I got so tired of it, that I picked a brand I understood, chose a model and bought it. I picked this one because my husband likes green. It makes lovely toast. It’s not perfect, but for the same reasons that no toaster is perfect. The slots aren’t big enough, but that is a thing. The day manufacturers make toasters that can toast a whole slice of bread in one go, there will be dancing in the streets. We can’t read the numbers on the dials without a torch and a magnifying glass, but that is also a thing. We understand that we have to endure what we cannot change.It’s a good toaster. It looks nice, there’s a choice of colours, it was a good price, and it came the next day. A toaster is always an emergency purchase for me, and therefore not fun. But all day long it’s a toaster, it does its job. And it makes very good toast (but you have to flip the bread).

Lovely colour. Deep slots easy to use

Nice looking toaster, and seems to toast well. Whether it lasts longer than my previous Bosch, which gave up after six months, remains to be seen.I've just knocked one star off because the dial and numbers aren't all that clear to see.

Ordered Morphy Richards toaster, when it arrived it was faulty so ordered this as a replacement. Much better and cheaper.

Good value, sturdy, easy to use

I bought this toaster last June, and it has worked well. It broke after Christmas, with only two slots working. The other side will not stay down. There is no support from Amazon. I have emailed Swan, but not received a response. This is poor service.I would avoid.
