This is a nice looking scale, seems very accurate, and it was easy to upload the app and connect. Our previous Beurer scale lasted for approximately 20 years and worked beautifully, so we had to go with another Beurer!

This is a wonderful scale. It has a large surface which eliminates instability. Large easy to read numbers, and it’s nice & slim to store in tight spaces. Definitely a heavy duty quality built scale.

RE: Beurer PS25 Digital Bathroom Scale for Body WeightFor a basic scale, you couldn't do better than this!I love the streamlined look and feel of this scale. It sits flat on the floor, has rounded corners, and has a jumbo LCD screen that lights up. Anyone should be able to read this with ease. It has a nice matte plastic casing so you're not stepping on glass. It's very solid. It doesn't rock as you get on and off. There is plenty of room for long feet without covering up the display.What I don't like about it is that it couldn't register my two 5-pound weights. So apparently, 10 pounds is too little weight to be measured. And when I weighed myself first, and then again holding my two 5-pound weights, the second total didn't come up to exactly 10 pounds more as I would have expected. Instead, with the extra 10 pounds in my hands, the scale reported an extra 10.6 pounds over my initial weight. I repeated the process several times, first weighing myself and then again with the weights in my hands, even moving the scale to another place on the hardwood floor. The results were fairly consistent with a fractional variation. However, each time I got off the scale, it remained lit up displaying my weight for nearly a minute before it finally turned off and reset. I don't think this scale has a memory, at least I didn't see any way to recall previous readings. It would be nice if it had one.The most disconcerting of all was the realization that I had gained weight. So, with this scale as my incentive, I hope in a couple of months, the big bright LCD will display a figure that's 10 pounds less. If it will do that, it'll be magic and worth every penny I paid. 😁

Like most home scales, the Beurer P525 bathroom scale under-weighs me by one or two pounds when I first step on it. To get an accurate result, I must weigh myself once, then step off and wait for the scale to return to zero, and then weigh myself again. On second and on subsequent tries, it will give me a heavier result - a pound or two more than on first try, which agrees nearly perfectly with my weight on the Weight Watchers' professionally accurate scale, so long as I'm wearing exactly the same clothing, shoes, etc. At WW, I weigh about 5 1/2 lbs. more than I do at home without clothes, but even so I'm under my goal weight of 170 lbs., when so many older Americans like me are overweight. Daily weighing with my Beurer helps keep me from obesity and diabetes.

This is a very nice scale and much to my surprise upon receiving it was that you can step right on to the scale. You do not have to press on it with your foot and remove it to light it up. You simply get on it and it tells you your weight. I like this so much better than anything I've ever owned before and so glad I spent the money on it. I think it's well worth the cost.I chose the white and it has a very clean look to it and I'm quite happy with my purchase.

Most smart scales tend to require online accounts and a lot of personal information in order to use them. I personally am very security minded and don't want my personal info everywhere, tons of accounts/sites tracking my data etc.Thankfully this scale allows you to set up the full functionality without a smartphone and the app can be used without registering online. The only niggle so far with the app is that it initially isn't obvious how to set it up locally (no online account) as it prompts you to "Register" or "Log in to account;" however, if you click register you will have the option to "save online" or "save locally." When you select "save locally," you will not be prompted to enter an email address or phone number. I just wish that this feature were better described in the documentation/app.Other than that, the scale is very elegant and seems to work well. The app lets you track your data over time.
