When I initially purchased this product I was disappointed because it was damaged. However, within 24 hours of posting my review, a representative contacted me and asked if they could send me another. I received the laser level within one business day; how great was that. It works perfectly. It is easy to use and the three laser options as wel as the three level options are fantastic. This is one of the best accessories I have in my tool bag. I would recommend this item to friends and family.

for the homeowner that doesn't depend on an instrument to give precision results. It can be made to work in limited situations.

Updating to a previous negative review, customer service supplied me with a replacement order after a calibration issue. Amazing customer service, product arrived in stellar condition, product works great, durable plastic design and for the price is a great buy for anyone in need of leveling off shelving unites or curtains like myself, very satisfied with this item and would recommend for any home improvement/do it yourself kind of person. No one likes a titled photo or un even shelf, here is a cheap and easy way to avoid that.

Edit: The seller did send me another version of this item free of charge. It was slightly more useful having just a single red dot. In the end ended up spending just over $100 for a good unit. This product is maybe good enough for imprecise leveling of non critical tasks like hanging pictures...but I wouldnt use it to set tiles or true up a floor or anything precise.really not even close to precise enough to be useful. The little tripod is junky and not square. The bubble levels are not in line with the laser so they dont really serve any purpose, and the beam becomes so wide at any distance grater than 10 ft that you cant get a precise reading. This level would be better if it was just a plain old single dot because at least its size would remain constant and youd have one good reference point. But the cross shaped laser just fans out. I wouldn't recommend this product.

For the price you pay for this it is very well made and surprising that it sure could sell for alit more! It’s a real bargain

Would not recommend this device to anyone that wants to use it. The plastic tri-pod which comes with it is very brittle and has broken. The adjustment of this level is annoying. Specifically if you want to make sure that it is projecting a verticle line which is plum. When trying to project a line which is horizonal and level, its ok, but you have to rely on the tri-pod, again, which is awful. The batteries which it comes with do work, however, the compartment whcih they go into is too large. Meaning, when the batteries are in there, if there is a disturbance, they shift and the laser doesn't work.I am at the moment looking for a new laser level and should have initially purchased the higher quality/brand name device vs a cheap one. Not worth it at all.

I’m not certain what the purpose of the stand is. I thought that it would provide a higher advantage point but when it is utilized it causes the leveler to be off balance after fighting with it for a bit I ended up ditching the stand & stacking a couple books together and using it this way. It’s decent but I still ended up needing a ruler.

We were building shelfs by the ceiling in 10 foot tall garage. (24”x24”x32’)So standing on a ladder measuring and marking where the boards were to go, then snapping a chalk line was work. With this tool 1/2 way into the project. We measured once and set the laser on it. Showing us where the boards were to go. Really made the job easier. If I never used it again, it was worth it on this one job. But I see it coming in handy for other things like hanging pictures And other such projects. For about $20 worth it.
