Morrocco Method Healthy Hair Starter Package

I have been suffering with atopic eczema all my life but recently had a particularly bad episode which had spread to my scalp,ears and forehead. I had tried lots of different sulphate free shampoos but nothing was helping. Living in the UK I came across Morrocco method's product. I was sceptical and hesitant at first on my purchase of the 5 elements shampoo package. Having reviewed each of the items individually I decided this was value for money and worth a try as nothing else was working, even prescription products. There was an immediate improvement after the first shampoo treatment. I was amazed at how, despite there being no lathering effect, after the two washes and once dried my hair and scalp felt really clean. Now 2 weeks after rotating the products and washing my hair when I 'feel' it needs it my eczema has cleared from my scalp and ears! I particularly like the apple cider vinegar, sea essence and pine shale shampoos and the mist conditioners help to soften my bleached blonde hair. I have just purchased the styling dragon pomade and found this to be a great product helping to add volume to my bobbed style and smoothing any frizz. I read that the pomade was also recommended as a skin moisturiser so have just started to use it on dry patches on my face and my very sore eczema inflicted hands. The product doesn't sting like other creams, even those recommended for eczema, and after one day of applying, the eczema on my hands is healing and looks less raw. I will update on progress with this in a week or so.

Very expensive for a trial, it does not come with instructions included in the package, instructions are nevertheless crucial, I spent ages reading their website, looking at the video tutorials even these looked quite unprofessional (after all the starter pack was £60 - not cheap), i missed a crucial point and that is that it does not work with hard water and I have no other option (also water softener is not an option in my household) I have it two weeks, rotated the shampoos, my hair looked gunky, smelly, lifeless. I appreciate that every review says so and I did expect it ,but not to that extent. I had however spent a weekend in an environment with soft water and I appreciated slight difference when washed. All in all not for me. Other main point, all the products packaging is not environmentally friendly (too much plastic) the labelling looks and feels cheap (yet the products are expensive) the brush is a joke. Did not work for me.

After using the Morrocco Method set, I won't be returning back to any store shampoo. My hair was starting to thin, and fall out at the age of 26. I was upset at the time but quickly I set out a plan to reverse the damaging effects of prescription medication that's been done to my body. I put myself onto a raw diet, and I researched into hair and how damaging store shampoo was.Only a few days using my new set but extremely happy with the purchase. I don't have much money but I can't think of anything more important than to invest money into looking after your own body and mind. The Morrocco Method has helped me a lot, and I hope I can afford to keep using it because I don't want any other shampoo set.

I am giving two starts because the detox mask, spray conditioner, euro oil and exfoliater are wonderful! The best that I had. However I bought this for a hair change and it has been almost 3 months and my hair has been looking horrible - really horrible. While it is gentle to my scalp, it does not wash the hair. It has been super waxy and even the colour has been awful. My hair is fine and very oily. I always spent over an hour trying to wash it but never once it came out looking nearly decent. I followed the recommendations. I tried variations of the recommendations. These shampoos didn't wash my hair. I read through the forums where a lot of people complain about this and it's attributed to the detox phase. I have been using gentle and natural mostly sulfate-free shampoos for a long time, so I was not expecting this severe detox or whatever they call it. I wouldn't have minded put up with if my hair would look good someday but three months was too much. I believed very much in the principle and I know a lot of people have great things to say about it, but for me it didn't work. I had better results in the past going water only. It's very sad as I want to support these kind of brands, but I was very disappointed. I do recommend greatly the other products I mentioned and I will be purchasing them in the future, but no way I am going to buy those shampoos again.

This was a waste of money. Reg. shampoos - maybe suitable for very very short hair, but def not for long ones, it feels better to wash my hair just with water. I will not buy again. Conditioners probably ok, I tried just once, I can live without it though...other products not tested yet.

With this kit your hair will go a transition through bad hair days to healthy shiny hair. They smell very earthy and you need to wash your hair twice with the shampoo but the conditioner is such a great product for co-washing.This starring kit is enough about 2 months if you following the lunar calendar of the company as well 😊

So disappointed! I recived my "healthy hair starter package" and none of the products have a protective seal on them, and I notice that 1/4 of all of the products are missing! and floating lotus condition have 1/3 conditioner missing from it. And only 3 of them that have protective seal are full. Those products are already really expensive and to rip people off like that is so disgraceful.

Very impressed by this product. The washing concept is indeed different from what I have been used to, as there isn't any foam produced in the process. But nevertheless I do feel my hair clean and certainly extremely moisturised and soft, which I love. As for the smell, it has a very herbal scent, totally different though from the kind of lavender or minty herbs we might be used to. It is more of an earthy kind of herbal, reminds me a lot of the Chinese herbal stores. It might be challenging to get accustomed to, but personally I enjoy the scents of it.
