Great size
Purchased this after me last trip to Scotland. Both my friend and I managed to get 25 ticks between us in 1 day and I had to remove them with my finger nails as had no tools. Lesson learned and as we are off again to Scotland next week, I wanted to be prepared this time. Not used yet to see if effective.Just like a credit card so handy to fit anywhere.

amazing little tool
Easy to carry and easy to use. Ticks love me and will always find me, so finding this has made life much easier. It is very convenient, not expensive and so small that it is never too bulky to carry. With Lyme disease on the rise, it is a gadget you should always have with you in the UK as well as on your travels.

Ideal and covenient size for everyday medical standby
Ideal and convenient size for storage in your wallet or first aid kit as you never know when you may be bitten. The process of removal is 'gentle' encouragement of the Tick to let go by easing the V under the tick and gentle lifting. Two simple V grooves. I would still pack some forceps/tweezers in you first aid kit. The convenience of the card means that you can carry with you at all times for use when you just pop into the countryside or pack with the kids, pets or family. Can be used to remove bee stings etc. Includes a 2X magnifying glass for identification/finding the smaller tick varieties before the have gorged themselves on your blood and there abdomen has swollen in size (5X+ in some cases). The card is easily cleaned with alcohol wipes after use. Clear instructions on the packaging.

Works like an absolute charm
I purchased this as my eldest son is absolutely petrified of getting ticks when out hiking with the Scouts. I wanted something easy to use, that could fit within his pocket first-aid kit. Well, the day after it arrived, he came home with a couple of ticks on his leg after a fantastic hike along Hadrians Wall. He's only 12, but with some gentle instruction, he effortlessly removed the first tick, and entirely dealt with the second one on his own.I've since used this myself, and the two different sized parts of this tool have really come in handy. As much as I thought the magnifying glass would be a novelty, it too has been useful in making sure the whole tick has been removed.
