Well I must say how happy I am I didn't have to throw my light away! So relieved we found this transformer for a fraction of what it would have cost for a new ceiling light. Easy to to fit and worked straight away. Would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you 😍

***** AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE ***** DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I've bought about 3 of these units, literally 12mths apart. I have had a qualified electrician install and test these failed units [apparently he doesn't know what he's doing, yet he's been working on the office refits at work totalling into the £millions!]. They then suggest i send back the unit for testing, which i did in a Jiffy; then claimed I'd opened up the t/former as it arrived in pieces! NO! when i sent it, it was in one piece & NEVER OPENED; though I cannot vouch for damages in transit. That said they're returns dept is a box, which all return [which i guess is many] end up in & once a week goes off for testing! very professional! They probably got my unit mixed uo with another! They then suggested I send back my Light Fitting [as that must be the problem] for testing which will cost MORE MONEY!! what a scam!! AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. RUDE EMAILS + I REPLIED IN KIND. In conclusion my electrician has converted my Light Fitting into one which does not require a Transformer, so all i need is different non t/former bulbs ALL GOOD. NOT BAD FOR A SPARKY WHO APPARENTLY DOESN'T KNOW WHAT HE'S DOING!!! ***** AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE *****

Saved us buying a new main light in our lounge

The fitting in my lounge had developed a fault where by it kept cutting out once warm. Although this transformer only has a single channel outlet (whereas the old one had two) it fitted perfectly and has given my old fitting a new lease of life.

Really pleased with this transformer, it saved my customer a fortune buying a new light. 😊

I have just had the same experience as others here. Wish I had read the reviews more carefully. The item supplied seems to be SaveMyLight's own version, with their branding: different from the picture shown but close enough that I did not notice at first. The listing shows SaveMyLight as the manufacturer, rather than EagleRise, so perhaps I should have realised. But in any case, the item failed within a few weeks (unlike the genuine EagleRise that I previously had, which lasted ten years) and it's clear that I am not going to be getting my money back (at least not without much more effort than it would be worth), just rude replies. Avoid! Buy instead from someone who will send you one that actually does look like the picture from this listing. That's what I have now done, and my light is working again just fine (so there is clearly no problem with my light, as the seller implied).
