This is the perfect powder to help minimize shine or help blur minor imperfections. I use the triangle powder puffs and I press it on instead of brush strokes. It helps makeup last longer and works well with most primer and foundations. A little goes a long way to achieve a smooth appearance. Touch ups work well with this powder also although if used properly you won’t need them. This powder definitely works well with mature skin. I switched to another brand for a day or two and seen a noticeable difference…. So this is a keeper and is a good addition to your makeup arsenal.

Quality setting powder! I’ve been using it for a year and it’s done well for every season and occasion. Highly recommend trying it!

Just buy it if the honey coir was to dark get this one I’m obsessed and will never go back

It is good for oily skin, but i wouldn't recommend it above other things. It isn't worth the money to me.

Comes nicely sealed so there is no spillage during shipping. This has a nice soft texture and blends nicely. The only negative is that it could have better ingredients. There’s a few unfavorable chemicals based components like aluminum, titanium, and a bunch of colored dyes that are just not necessarily.

Laura Mercier Setting powders have been my favorite for as long as I’ve been baking my face and using loose powder to set my contour. In my opinion, they’ve mastered the art of loose powders, and I have yet to find another setting powder that I prefer over theirs. But I had yet to try the ultra-blur one and I have to say, I prefer it to the original and that’s something I didn’t expect to say. Not only does it have the same longevity as the original and makes my face look flawless, but it has the added bonus of blurring every pore to give me the most stunning, smooth complexion and finish. I love how fine the powder is and that it never leaves me looking cakey or powdery, it also has a beautiful yellow undertone that brings out the high points of my face and helps illuminate my highlight. It can often be difficult to find setting powders that don’t make my complexion look dull or too pink, as I have an olive skin tone thanks to my Mediterranean genes, and this powder never makes me look dull or rosy, just accentuate the coloring in my skin tone, while it gives me a filtered, flawless finish. I can’t recommend it enough, it’s definitely a must for me and the holy grail of setting powders.
