Not able to get the effect I was hoping for
I purchased this item to determine and communicate a particular colour to a metal accessories manufacturer.This swatch book, while vast, didn't convey the metallic effect among many of the swatches I was looking at.Pantone uses a technology that features flecks of grey aluminum or something of the like to simulate metal, but it alters the appearance of the lighter colours in the book which were what I needed to reference.I had to send this back to Amazon who graciously handled my return. I will definitely use Pantone's metallic swatch books in future for CMYK projects, but the coated TPM metallics for metal accessories didn't work out this time around.
