Good price - Good Value - Mostly Concealed
The picture you see is of the splint moved forward of my knuckle. I wanted to show the mark it makes on the top of the knuckle. It's not a problem but I take the splint off to rest my finger. The next pictures shows the splint in place. If I was wearing this in sports or hard work I would get the velcro type. But I have an average day w/o heavy use.The splint allows some downward movement of the finger but doesn't allow the knuckle (shown) not to bend. I tried a tighter fit at first (8). But then I noticed that my finger tip was slightly purple after hours of use. Then I went up one number to 9 and the splint felt loose. But it never wants to leave my finger and yet restricts the movement properly. I've learned to take it off for hand washing.I like that it's kind of concealable. It's better than having a large velcro device for looks. My finger is already feeling better. My doctor says two weeks for healing. I think it will be less.

Simple design, works great!
These are perfect for my trigger thumb! Excellent quality, totally washable, comfortable and it stays put all day and even through the night. I looked at these and saw some negative reviews, glad I ignored them because these are just great! I can still use my thumb with it on because I can bend it a little without it getting to that point of “triggering.” This little kit came with several sizes so just in case other fingers start to get this condition I am set.

Get the size assortment first
10Pcs Oval Finger Splints & Sleeves Kit,These splints work well for the PIP finger joints (what you would knock on a door with) and the IP joint of the thumb, not so great for the distal finger joints. They are both effective (limit joint motion), efficient (lightweight, inexpensive, go on and off easily) and unobtrusive. If you have a sprain (warmth, swelling, hurts when moved but not particularly tender to touch) order the size assortment. The joint swelling will vary from hour to hour and you’ll want to change sizes.

Quality is not bad with thicker material but the sizing is off
The quality on this seems okay. It is a bit thicker than what I am actually used to. It is not the easier to put on though because the sizing is not the best. It definitely needs a better sizing chart to avoid this problem. The thicker material does make it more supportive but it is harder to fit on your hand. There are several different splints and sleeves to work with for the most part. There were no kind of rips or tears which is good. It is relatively supporting from just touching the material. Unfortunately I could not actually put it on my hand because of the sizing issue. Overall I think this is a bit on the thicker side but it is supportive. It is durable but the problem is that the sizing on this makes it hard to wear and also would be harder to know if this will fit your hand or not so it definitely needs a bit of improvement.

Get the correct size.
They actually work as a splint- I am using one on my thumb. It is a trick to get the right size- I had the opinion of the Sports Medicine doc I saw and he guided me correctly. Compared to the ungainly bulky alternatives on the market, this is comfortable to wear and keeps the thumb in place to heal the sheets that hold the tendon in position. They are also basically unnoticeable in use.

Not great
These things are not that good. I have the correct size but they are plastic and throughout the day they dig into your skin. I have a Mallet finger from a wrestling injury so I am not supposed to bend that knuckle at all. The other issue is that it's the same size all the way through. Fingers get bigger the closer they get to your hand. So the size that fits past my first knuckle leaves the tip of my finger with to much movement. I've putting athletic tape on my finger to keep it from digging into my skin and to also keep the tip of my finger more tight. That's annoying if your washing your hands often. Anyway cool idea but does need some work on the design part. I'm going to look for one that maybe has some rubber padding on it and has a better shape to it.The metal finger splint is nice when your not doing anything but not practical for those that work with their hands or have to type.

Great quick cheap splint!
Works great! The splints work perfectly to immobilize the finger joint, without being bulky or uncomfortable. I like that they are lightweight and easy to put on and take off. The set comes with different sizes. I recommend you measure to order the right set. I ordered the wrong size so only one splint fits, but it’s the one size I needed anyway so I kept it. I give it two (splinted) thumbs up! :)

Easy finger splint to put on or take off
Multiple sizes come in the pack, but nothing for large hands. Only 1 fit my thumb, it was a little large so I put a piece of tape an the bottom next to my hand to keep it on. It worked.Good for holding my thumb semi straight and preventing the trigger thumb clicks. Lets my thumb move a little, which I believe is a good thing. This is a quick and easy splint to keep your trigger thumb or finger from bending and being irritated.Easy to take off for when I need to get my hands wet. Not bending my thumb keeps a lot of pain away. The kit comes with some black cloth splints to reduce the finger mobility while it heals. I also like using that when I go outside for a walk.
