I love this lock. I have to park for multiple days in an airport lot where multiple cars have been stolen and using this certainly helps with my piece of mind. It just adds an additional deterrent. It’s easy to use and feels strong.

Works great! Sure a determined thief will get through just about any device but this will take some time and when a thief is committing grand theft auto they don't want to hang around a long time. Someone said it's only plastic surrounding the cable. Well duh Sherlock! The plastic surrounding the actual cable is NOT part of the security feature. It's only job is to protect your steering wheel from being damaged from the roughness of the steel cable that loops through your steering wheel. I actually use TWO of these (one clipped into the driver's seat belt and the other locks into the passenger seat belt. I just figured it Will make them work that much harder. Also a neighbors daughter was carjacked at a gas station. She went inside to pay for her gas and upon coming out was accosted at knife point for her keys. She gave him the keys and she ran back in the store and called the police. They caught him a few weeks later several states away. He's now doing 7 years. Because of this i use this lock Even just for a few minutes inside a store when I'm in a high crime area and I never keep the key to this steering wheel lock on my main key chain. If a similar situation happens to me I'll give them the keys to my car. They'll jump in my car......I'll get the heck outta there and they will quickly realize they can't drive the car because the steering wheel is double locked and none of the keys on my key ring work!

Had this for a few days, but finally tested it out. It is a bit of a learning curve, but overall pretty easy. I did have a bit of a hiccup as the protective piece of plastic that sits above the keyhole had shifted. It was not in line with the keyhole, which made inserting the key impossible. I used the edge of the key to "twist" the plastic cover back in line with the keyhole and was able to insert the key in again.I have a Hyundai, so like many others, I have been absolutely dreading that stupid Tiktok trend. Even with updated software, I have heard people are still losing their cars to those looking for an easy target car. We only have one vehicle, so it would definitely impact us a lot. I have been looking into so many options, and looking at how people show using this and other locks in videos before we bought this item.I knew that it may be a bit of a struggle at times, but let's face it.. that is what we want would-be thieves to be met with, so hopefully they don't even bother. My partner was unfamiliar with this type of lock and has not been watching the videos, but with a few verbal instructions was able to understand it quickly.So far it is good! It is visible through the window, too. I just wish it was a wee bit longer. Will keep this updated if anything changes.{Update; As the months are getting colder, we have noticed that the cable becomes very stiff when the temperatures plummet. We have had a few nights in the teens, and the cable is a small bit of a wrestling match to get it unhooked from itself and then the steering wheel. So keep that in mind if you are living in areas where it gets very cold!!}

Really good, it comes with like 3 keys. No issues just really make sure to read the instructions on how to unlock. Everytime I used it I would literally lose my crap because I couldn’t unlock it. TIP TO UNLOCK: Place the key in there, twist to your right about 30 degrees (DO NOT PRESS DOWN), then push down.

My Tahoe was stolen at work and since then I didn’t take it back. installed some jimmy jammers and now this. I have taken my Tahoe to work and I feel comfortable leaving it there in the parking lot now. This thing is easy to put on and take off even I am already sitting in it. And I’m a big guy 300+. I know a determined thief will still take what they want. But there have been some things added that will seriously slow them down if they try again.
