Beware of metric diameters!
Buyer beware! These copper rods are metric sizes despite being advertised as uS fractional inches. I ordered a 3/8” diameter rod which is .375”. I received a 10mm rod which is .393”. Not the same! Had the same issue with the 1/4” and 3/16” rods I ordered. Otherwise the rods arrived in great shape and will work for my needs. A suggestion would be to get rid of the fraction inches description altogether.

I've never held solid copper before, so I didn't expect it to be so weighted. I also bought a zinc rod. Supposedly holding a pure copper rod in your right hand, and a pure zinc rod in your left hand helps with grounding. This rod is comfortable to hold, and the perfect size for my hand. It also passed the magnet test, so it is pure copper.

Just what I needed
Put these in my stock tank to rid it of calcium deposit. Works perfectly. No more hard water buildup on the tank!
