Nice assortment
I purchased this kit mainly for the npn BJT 2SC1624 Transistors that are available in it, but to also have a few spare components if I happen to need them. I needed the 2SC1624 for a sega game gear that I am working on for a friend. The parts are all testing good on my cheap bside transistor tester. I did notice when testing one of the 2SC1624 's that the emitter and collector were flipped from how they are shown on the package. I checked the data sheet for the 2SC1624 and it was matching my findings. I sent a message to the seller who also confirmed my findings very promptly. The seller has indicated that they will update the diagram to reflect the correct layout of that particular transistor. I could knock them in my review for the mistake, but I wont because they were so quick about rectifying the situation and were also extremely grateful to have it pointed out. Keep up the good work!

Great deal on a ton of smd
I loved the case and huge assortment of a wide variety of smd. I was hoping for a 2sc pnp device but i just flipped it over to reverse e and b

Huge Assortment
Contains a nice collection of parts. More types then I can use most likely, but well worth having on hand.

Good assortment, but MMBTA42 is not PNP!
Overall this is a good assortment and an excellent value. However, not all the data is correct. The MMBTA42 (Marked 1D) is a NPN transistor according to its datasheet and a transistor tester, and not a PNP like the box label claims.Interestingly, when asked to check the list of components in the kit, ChatGPT claims the MMBTA42 is a PNP transistor, and this appears to be because the first datasheet result for the MMBTA42 says "Complementary PNP Type: DIODES™ MMBTA92" and does clearly state that the MMBTA42 is NPN. The device symbol is clearly a NPN transistor in the MMBTA42 datasheet.

A lot of very handy components in well-labeled packaging - great for any electronics lab
I really like this kit. You get quite a few pieces of each component, and these are some of the most common basic semiconductor components... always handy to have a few around to try an experiment, or make a quick repair, etc.I did not have the time or inclination to attempt to test even a majority of components in this kit. I decided to choose 1 that I'm familiar with, the classic MMBT3904. I hooked it up as a switch/common-emitter amplifier, and everything worked fine. The 'scope shot attached shows the device with a 10k base resistor (yellow trace is the voltage applied to the base, via the resistor) and a 49.9 Ohm collector resistor, pulling up to 5.0 V. Based on the slope of the lines, roughly speaking, I measure a forward current gain (beta) of 190. [a change of 1.35 V on the collector indicating 1.35/49.9 = a current delta of 27 mA; a change of 1.4 V on the base input, divided by the base resistance of 10k indicating a change of 140 uA in base current. 0.027/0.000140 ~ 190]. That is about what you'd expect for this device.Switching action was also good, and as expected. See the attached photo with 49.9 Ohms in the base and collector circuits. I was actually surprised how low the collector voltage went in saturation, well under 40 mV. The device turned off in about 200 ns, also surprising to me, when driven far into saturation. These are not exhaustive tests, by any means, but a decent indication that you're getting what you've been told your getting, and not bad components, or ones that are out of spec. For non-critical knocking about in the lab, this is a really nice kit.
