I found the Disposable Skin Stapler to be an efficient alternative to traditional suturing methods. It comes preloaded with 55 sterile wires, which makes it perfect for quick and effective wound closure in emergency or surgical situations. The ergonomic design made it easy to use, allowing for precise application even with my limited experience. The included stapler remover was a great addition, simplifying the removal process and ensuring patient comfort while reducing infection risk. Overall, it's a reliable tool that enhances the speed and efficiency of wound management, making it a valuable addition to any medical kit.

I've purchased three of these recently and have been very pleased with its performance. Line up the arrow with the center of the wound/incision; place on the skin; and squeeze the handle - it is that simple. Also of note is the staple remover that comes with it - comfortable to hold; easily removes staples; and is so much gentler than other types. It is a good value for the money as well. Definitely would recommend!

I've had to use this skin stapler once and it was great! It's a simple design and easy to use. It's a quality stapler that has lasted me some time. It has been very durable and weighs nothing in your hand. For an emergency item it's a great value, for your money too.

...cause ya never know when you’re going to need to staple your dog shut. Yeah, seriously. It’s basically a quick way to do stitches that’s viable for a pet owner to use. I haven’t used this particular stapler. I gave it to a friend who was staying with her dog in a hurricane prone place with big windows. I’ve used these in general though. I used it like stitches before my dog was able to get in for his entropian eyelid surgery. I pinched the skin 1-2” below his eyes together and then stapled it. It took several goes to get it just right as he understandably fussed a lot. (I was essentially stapling his eyes more open - never a good time.) I know it sounds horrific but the staples were a pretty fine metal and it was literally the only viable solution to keep him from permanently damaging his eye lens. He was in a lot of discomfort from course on his eyelid that was curling inward and rubbing his eyeball. The at home stapling was uncomfortable for him and it made him bleed a tiny little bit, like a pin prick. But he handled it 100x better than a nail trim. While it seems awful, it’s a totally humane way to patch skin together if your dog gets cut open or you need quick, low-pain sutures for your fur-baby. It can scar a little bit just like regular stitches. This is a must have for your pet emergency supply kit.
