Top Quality.
I make quilts and Aurifil is the only thread I use to sew my 100% cotton fabric. It's very durable and doesn't break in my machine. I also use it for my hand quilting. I've used many, many, many yards of this thread and have never had a problem with it. I can't attest to other colors as I only use black, white, cream and dove.

Lightweight thread
I love aurafil thread! It’s thin, so I’m better able to sew a 1/4 inch seam.

This cotton thread is a must.
This is the best cotton thread on the market. When making bowl holders cotton thread is needed, polyester will melt in the microwave. It’s strong, it doesn’t fray and it sews like a dream.

Aurifil is the best!
I have several sewing machines, but my BabyLock is very finicky and only sews well using Aurifil thread because of the low volume lint content of it. I prefer the 50 weight, and it is a much cleaner, finer thread than even other 50 weights I've tried. Purchasing the 3 pack on Amazon is the best price I've found anywhere in the quilting industry.
