This little counter compost bin is cute. It's big enough that I only have to empty it about once a week, but not so big that it takes up too much room. It never gives off a bad smell. The only thing I would say is don't hold it by the bucket handle when you take it out because it comes off easily and you will spill the contents. I would recommend this product. Update: After using this for a few months and even using a new filter. It keeps getting maggots in it so I am no longer using it.

It’s a nicely sized composter for the kitchen counter. The lid fits nicely and I like that there is a handle on both the metal bin as well as the plastic bin inside. Unfortunately, we can no longer carry just the plastic bin outside to add to our compost pile because it developed a long crack on two sides which allows any liquid to leak out (i.e., from tomato or cucumber bits). After submitting my initial review, I want to increase my rating because the seller reached out to me immediately and offered a replacement or a refund. That is great customer service and hard to find these days.

I'm a couple months into my composting journey and I love this little can. Before this can I would begrudgingly walk to the back yard every night to toss out the items from the day. Now I toss them in the can as I go and empty it once or twice a week. The fruit flies are gone! There is no smell escaping the can. The filter and extra bucket onside are fantastic! I literally have no complaints

This compost bin is a nice size and color. I like the inside leakproof bin with handle, but I still use plastic bags from fruits and vegetables as a liner. We eat a lot of fresh fruits and veggies, so we fill it pretty quickly, but it's easy to take to the outside composter. I also like the rubber mats so it doesn't sit in water and possibly discolor.

This bucket is great for temporary collection of organic waste for compost. The carbon filters help to avoid odors coming out from the waste. Easy to empty into a compost larger container outside the kitchen.

Compost bucket was the perfect size for my husband and myself. Would not be large enough for a bigger family. The charcoal filter worked well on orders although the few days we used it, we emptied it daily. After 3 days of the handle on interior bucket coming off everything bucket was removed, we decided to return it. We also had to dig the handle out of the compost when it fell off when dumping it. The other issue is the lid would not stay suctioned down and kept popping up. The liner/seel may have been defective, I'm not sure. With these issues combined, we decided to return this item.

It's very practical as I don't have to run to fhe backyard compost for every little thing. I have it on my island counter, it looks good with the decor. The carbon filters are doing their jobs very well...no smell. The small bucket is practical to carry and is very easy to clean. A must have in my kitchen!
