I like these very much and like to have 2 on the go so that when I fancy a cup of tea I don't then have to clean out the old leaves from the previous time I used it. As I am of an age where we constantly misslay things I wanted another couple to have around. These things are much better for the environment than tea bags and when I empty them out the tea grouts make a good garden compost.

Ho deciso di scrivere una recensione per ridare la dignità che questo prodotto merita. Inutile dire che viste le poche e negative recensioni presenti non riuscivo a capire se fidarmi o meno di questo prodotto; si legge che il tè passa, che le maglie non chiudono bene e nella mia disperazione ho deciso di lanciarmi di testa nella acquisto, come si fa in una piscina interrata senza acqua, con la certezza di farsi del male. Dopo l’arrivo del prodotto sono rimasto, contro ogni aspettativa, colpito positivamente, infatti è ben costruito, le maglie sono dello spessore adeguato, la chiusura è efficace e la catenella resistente al che mi sono chiesto “ma come diamine fa a passare il tè dal filtro?”. La risposta alla domanda è arrivata in meno di un secondo e mi lascia per l’80% sconvolto e per il restante 20% esterrefatto. La prima parte perchè é ovvio che il tè (loose leaf) passi in minime quantità dal filtro quando è SECCO (ovvero quando non è immerso in acqua) e lo si carica all’interno della sfera, mentre il problema non sussiste se PRIMA si mette l’acqua bollente nel recipiente e POI si immerge la sfera per l’infusione! Facendo il contrario, ed è questo che mi sorprende della gente con poca poca inventiva e/o capacità di ragionamento, le foglioline non hanno il tempo di inzupparsi di acqua (crescendo di dimensione e restando bloccate nel filtro) e se ne vanno in giro per il recipiente! Perciò il restante 20% sopra citato appartiene a quelle persone che fanno le cose a casaccio prima di scrivere una recensione e demonizzano prodotti che invece sono di tutto rispetto.VOTO FINALE 10/10 —-> il prodotto fa quello che deve fare egregiamente, è ben costruito, è molto bello e non costa una mazza.

The first ones we purchased went a little funny and rusted after a couple of weeks. The seller has kindly send a new set free of charge and they appear to be fine. These are superb thou for the money and much better than the novelty style. Thank you for sorting out the issue, greatly appreciated

Upon my switch to loose tea, away from coffee and bagged tea, I have dipped into the world of tea strainers only a few times.These mesh ball style ones are easy to clean, use and are very compact for travelling! I now have one on my desk at work and at home in daily use.They're well built, easily maintaining their structure and mesh for a few months now. They barely stain and have only darkened a little.
