Do these blades have wax/glue dots on them?

There's a small amount of wax holding the paper on, but other than that, there are no wax or glue spots on any of the blades.

Picture says stainless. text says chrome. are these chrome? that's what i want.

How many close shaves each blade give?

There is no way of actually answering this question without knowing your beard type. For someone with a quickly growing dense bread will be completely different than some who can let it grow for days without others really noticing. I am somewhere in between I can use these every other day due to the closeness and forgiveness (I did some real damage once not paying attention while using a feather blade but not a concern with these). I can easily use one blade for a month or more based on my conditions. I also use Truefitt and Hill shaving cream most of the time which has something to do with how it glides/feels.

This model of blades is a part of Lord brand, which is made in Egypt.
