Used these for a portable winch & they seem durable.

Really happy with this connector.
I wanted something that was easy for my wife to plug and unplug the inverter. They were not the easiest to install because crimping a 4 gage wire is tough.But now that it’s installed, using them is easy with the provided pulls. I recommend.

Easy to install
Everything for. Perfect for 4 AWG cable.

Shipped wrong size.
Needed the items immediately. No time for returns and reshipping. I ordered 4 gauge connectors and received 1 gauge which will not work. Will not order Red Wold products again.

I misinterpreted the listing but it’s ok…
No Fifth star because the description can be misleading but the product is fine… I thought there were 4 pair or plugs but it’s only 2 complete pair… they still will work

Nice connector using with two gauge wire works perfectly for a quick disconnect if needed

175 amp... too big for 2 or 4 gauge wire.
Overpriced for what you get.I bought the 175 amp connectors.Claims to be for 2-4 gauge wire. They are way too big for that size and are the right size if you're using 1/O or 2/O wire. I have to strip 3 1/2" of my 4 gauge wire, then triple fold it to fit into the lug. It's doubtful that the thin small plate inside the connector can even handle 175 amps.Once the lugs are in the connector, there is so much room around the lug that dirt, debris & moisture can get in. These are NOT moisture resistant, not for use in engine compartment, outside, or anywhere where dirt, debris or moisture can get to it.For indoor use only, if you want to play it safe and make them last.

Quality is good, however I ordered a set,returned because wrong crimp connectors and short 2 connectors.Got second set, still wrong crimp connectors.It says for 2-4 gauge. You get 1/0 gauge crimp connectors in this kit.For those who don’t know, that is way to big to crimp on a 2 or 4 awg wire!The connectors should have 4 stamped on them, not 1/0.Such a shame because they are nice connectors.
