It uses the old screws, so don't get rid of them. Also, the screw holes aren't threaded, so it's best to sit down and turn the screws in all the way, back them out, then install it. Trying to cut the threads into the plastic while at the microwave wasn't working well. Also, there's a YouTube video for how to remove the trim covering the bottom screw, do that first!

Removing the door bezel on the inside was a pain in the ass! You have to be super careful as to not break the bezel during removal. It feels like you’re going to break it.This handle itself works great and matches fine with the silver exterior of the microwave.

Great replacement handle, looks like new. However, this item should come with replacement screws. If you lose either original screw, or one strips, there's no saving the microwave.

Handle works fine - - it probably costs under a buck to manufacturer but hey, it is what it is. Wonderful suggestion from one of the posters about using a putty knife to undo the frame and access the screws to the handle. A little bit of work to get it going and then it pops off. Don't rush it. Also - - the handle doesn't come with screws so the ones that were in my microwave were somewhat stripped. I was able to torque down and tighten the handle even though some folks said not to do this. But if you don't - - the handle will be loose. It's a fine line to get it securely attached.

Fits like a glove

Completely different colored plastic than the original authentic (and very broken) Samsung handle, came with a visible seam of plastic sticking out over the side. Returning and spending 5x as much on an authentic replacement part. Thanks Amazon.

Microwave oven

If the handle of your Samsung breaks while it is under warranty, guess what, Samsung doesn't consider that a part that should be replaced under warranty. I talked to their reps in India and the US and they refused to budge on this. I have never pulled the handle off anything before, cars, refigerators, ovens, dishwashers or other brands of microwaves. I will never buy anything made by Samsung again.Popping off the plastic to get to the lower screw is tricky. Mine cracked a little but I can live with it. Before I attempted to install the handle, I inserted the screws, coated with a little hand soap into the handle to make sure I could thread them deep enough. When they got tight a backed of a little, added more soap and tightened and loosened them until they went in another turn or two. Then I removed the screws, and installed the handle and popped the plastic trim back on.The attachment is a design flaw, as it is obvious a lot of people have the same problem. This replacement doesn't look like it's designed any better.The color isn't perfect, but the handle is plastic and the finish of the door is metal.

It is the perfect replacement, exactly like the original, but it didn’t come with the screws to install it with.

Its similar to original one, great product and reasonable cost! looks original and texture is uniform.I like it.
