What a super little lamp this is. Functional, great design, fully adjustable and weighs hardly anything.It comes neatly packaged, no assembly or batteries required. It has an internal battery which is charged with the USB cable supplied – keep this safe as the end for the lamp is not the usual micro USB, but round. Mine came with enough power to last several days use, on the lowest setting, as a nightlight in my dark hall.The clever design allows the lamp to be hung from a door handle, a rucksack, bicycle, inside a tent – almost anywhere you can think of. Open the two parts and you have a neat little lamp with a really flexible neck and “head”; the three levels of light are useful and easy to operate – just press the on/off button in the middle. Each press takes the level up until the fourth one which switches it off.I love the round shape which is quite tactile and smooth, and when opened, the base of the lamp – mine is blue – is slightly concave forming a little dish in which to keep small items – earrings, a few coins – safe. No sharp edges, no corners, nothing to pinch the fingers; I cannot fault this. It will definitely go with me on my next backpacking trip.

Great night light for my son only problem is it becomes loose after a few uses
