It's good
It is unobtrusive, and that is what I wanted. It doesn't take over my end table. I use it for approx 30 minute measutements of time so I don't have to keep looking at the phone.I really like it - size, wood, good quality.

Diabetic meal timer.
What a big help having this sand timer. As soon as I start eating my carbs at mealtime, I flip the hourglass to let me know when to start walking or exercising to burn off the meal glucose entering the blood stream. I have other timers, but they made an annoying noise or required setting and resetting buttons. So easy and pleasant looking at this timer.
