I've list a lot of weight and find myself freezing, especially at work. This has been a great solution. Very comfortable, different Temps and a nice long cord.

Love love love. Heats up quickly- so soft and comfy. I HAVE to have it all day in my home office. It’s soothing warmth keeps me motivated and moving through my day.

Pros: Do you know how Amazon will sometimes send things without a box, and your poor item has clearly been sloshing around in the delivery truck with your address label on top of what seems like saran wrap? Well, this is not one of those items! The blanket is very giftable, as it comes in the Brookstone box and then an outside box. It is protected and the opening experience was nice. Onto the blanket itself: It is soft and the split down the middle is what allows this blanket to be wearable. It is ideal when you are working or needing access to hand-held items. Also, the turn on/off button is on the blanket, which is a plus compared to alternatives where the power and adjustment buttons/knobs are on the cord portion. There is a 5-year warranty from the manufacturer, which is reassuring.Cons: The heat is alright. I don't feel a huge difference among the various levels, but I'd rather have the wearable function even if the heat is not always even. Also, the heat doesn't radiate over the entire coverage of the blanket. There is a 7" gap between the start of the heating coils and the edge of the blanket. See picture. In terms of the material: I love the grey side. The color is more of a light silver which I like. In the picture, I layered this blanket over a different grey blanket so that you can see how light the Brookstone material is. The white sherpa side is soft but it worries me. It feels like it will pill and get old-looking in the future. Maybe after a few washes I'll be proven wrong and the blanket will just get softer. Time will tell.Notes and overall impressions: I'm rating this a 4 star item. It would be a 5 star in my book if it were cordless (or not needing a wall outlet), had a pocket or two for a power bank and maybe a small notepad/pen, and if the white sherpa side were the same as the grey/silver polyester side. When I purchased this item, there were 3 wearable options: 1 heated shorter option (poncho) and 2 non-heated options (more like a long robe with actual sleeves). Perfect for working from home. No need for heaters. Heats up right away. Stays cozy when turned off. Convenient. Great investment. Wish there was a cordless option.

This is the perfect heating blanket for pets. It is easy to operate and the timing feature is beneficial.

Delivered Feb 6, stopped heating on April 6. Was great in the window for saving on my heating bill. Will contact support and update on response.

It barely has any heat, only way you can even tell it’s an electric blanket is because there’s wires in it. If you fold it over and put your hand between the layers you can tell that’s it’s on but you get no warmth from it at all!! But, the blanket itself is very soft, if there wasn’t wires in it I would have kept it for that reason only. Don’t waste your money.

I absolutely love this blanket. I sit in my chair and have one end in my lap and the two split ends on my shoulders, so technically it's backwards! But it is the best lap blanket! My cats agree.

Nice warm and cozy shawl sized comforter. Fits me and my doggoe perfectly.

Purchased for my mother as a gift and she absolutely loves it. Plug required, heats in center, uses as a blanket on lap and opening draped to the sides. I would buy again. Even if it didn’t have a heat option the blanket itself is softer then butter on a hot summer day

It was pleasure owning this at first. Than it started heating up sporadically followed by hot spots. It's a shame it was engineered so poorly. It lasted 2 weeks,
