Great product, fantastic Customer Support!
So we bought one of these portable covers to take with us to Hawaii. It was compact and it fit in my backpack. Part of what made this cover so great is that it has a pair of sandbags in each corner. It did a great job of holding its place, even in a good wind.We enjoyed it over several days. At one point, the poles started to bury themselves in the sand and the wind was strong enough that the poles lost their flexibility, and caused them to bend. I contacted Customer Support, and they didn’t hesitate in sending me out four new poles.I watched other people that had covers with only one sandbag in each corner. They had to keep repositioning them throughout the day. I never had to reposition mine with the double sandbags in each corner.I’m here to tell you, you won’t be disappointed with the ease of setting this up nor the compactness of it for travel, not to mention the great Customer Service! If I needed a second one, I would not hesitate to buy one from this company.

Was able to set up by myself in 5 minutes!
Ok this canopy is fantastic! First, i have a 3 month old baby, and took him to a beach last week for the first time. I wanted something easy to set up, that wouldn’t blow away in strong winds, but also offer ample shade to help keep him protected! This was PERFECT! I was able to, on my own, set this canopy up in 5 minutes. It’s so easy! One day the wind speed was 25 mph and this canopy held strong! It’s very durable and easy to take down as well. The small duffle bag it fits into is easy to carry and store. It’s also not heavy, which was nice because i had a lot of things to tote out for my baby. Highly recommend

Easy for 1 person to set up!!
It worked well staying up all day even some wind. It was not heavy and very easy to put up and take down.

Lifesaver for Sun-Sensitive Beachgoers
I can’t be in direct sunlight for long due to skin sensitivity, so finding the right sunshade was essential—and this one did not disappoint. It was easy to set up, even with a breeze, and provided excellent coverage and UV protection throughout the day. I was able to enjoy the beach comfortably without constantly worrying about the sun. It’s lightweight, packs down nicely, and offers enough room for a chair, towel, and a small cooler. If you’re sun-sensitive like me, this sunshade is a must-have for beach days!

This beach tent works as advertised!
In looking at and deciding to purchase this beach tent, I was dubious for several reasons. 1): Were the poles flimsy and would bend of snap easily in a strong wind blow-over or pushing the tent upwards with the poles? 2): Are the 8 sand anchors really going to keep everything upright in strong winds? 3): Is it going to be feasible to put it by myself if it is just my wife and me? 4): Is it really all going to fit nicely back into the carry case and fit in one of our larger checked suitcases?Well, let me tell you, all of these concerns were completely unfounded. This tent works fantastic!!We used it for the first time in Maui this week. On the day we chose to spend the day on the beach, all the islands were under small-craft advisories, with winds sustained @ 15-20mph, with gusts easily @ 25. It took a little practice and patience to get the right combination of set-up completed (pole placement, sand bags filled and positioned, etc). But once there, this tent didn't blow over ONE TIME!The trick/key to making it work under strong wind conditions is to load up the 8 sand buckets COMPLETELY full, to where they probaably weigh 10lbs. ea. Then, once you have the tent up with the poles in place, simply dig holes in the sand AROUND the 8 buckets, and bury the buckets in the holes, with then more sand covering them up.It sounds like a lot of work, but it wasn't at all. And, depending on how many people are under the tent, you can either place the poles outword more to create more covered sittig area, or move them in more to create some custom/adjusted shade areas. We had 4 adults and 2 toddlers under the tent, along with 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs, and we all had plenty of room and shade. You simple have to move around every 20-30 minutes if you want to keep totally shaded since the sunshine obviously moves around. But all of that was easy-peezy, and never a problem.I highly recommend this beach tent to anyone who spends quality time on a beach. My wife and I would so pleased that we're gong to look for a smaller version just for the 2 of us since we travel to beach locations several times a year by ourselves. It really works and does the job.

Does NOT work as advertised!
7/30/2025 Update: The seller contacted us and offered to send us a replacement free of charge. We used it on Monday, and it worked great! 10/10 customer service from the seller and good product overall. We've used this item twice on the Florida panhandle beaches this summer. The max wind we saw was 20 mph. The pole is not stable in the sand no matter how deep we put it. The metal arm poles on the canopy seem awfully stressed and are bending at an uncomfortable angle. Because of that, the fabric corner parts are far too long which leads to flapping and stress at the base of the sand bag. One of which is tearing already. The shade screen adds even more weight to the already stressed arms and is unusable. 0/10 would not recommend.

Not great in the wind.
This will probably be just fine on nice calm days; provides a nice amount of shade and is easy to put up. I had hoped that this would hold up better in the wind, but it did not. Maybe it is because of the size we ordered, but those extendable arms just bend way down in a stiff breeze. We ended up having to use our old regular umbrella instead.

Worth it.
Had this for about 4 years and it’s still going strong. Easy to put up and store. The shade area is huge! We haven’t had issues with it at all. Very durable.Make sure you follow setup instructions to make the wind resistance better.
