🧲 Hold it tight, weld it right — magnetic mastery for pros on the go!
Strong Hand Tools Magnetic V-Pads Kit features 4 rare-earth magnet-equipped pads (2 at 2" with 12 lbs pull, 2 at 2.2" with 18 lbs pull) designed for light-duty steel positioning. Ideal for tack welding and precise assembly, these versatile pads hold round, flat, and square parts securely while saving time in shop or field applications. Heat-sensitive magnets require care to avoid demagnetization above 185°F.

Good tool for the Kit
Good tool for the kit. The add shows the many uses. These are strong magnets - Just be careful not to ruin them with welding heat. Use to position, Tack weld your parts then remove. I forgot 1 was on a inside corner and Tig welded right over it. Now it's a pretty weak magnet- that's my fault. Hoping to "recharge it" - we'll see how it holds tomorrow. >> Not the magnets fault !

Just like the thing that was similar
It got a one star ding I value for $$$. Only because it's worth what I paid which means I got what I paid for. If it was a buck or do cheaper, it would a got itself five stars because it would have been worth more than I paid they work great, if you don't know, by the way, if you weld on top of it , you ei kill the magnet. I'm not much but a little smarter than it is so I don't do that. It works great to hold funky things in funky positions ( not like Candy from the club, just little metal stuffs)until you get em tacked together. It is every bit ad strong as I thought it would be, it will not hold a steel reinforced door, a truck hood, a radio tower, or a automobile header in position, but if your trying to instead use it like it was intended, you can hold stuff a pound or so still, maybe more if you too are a wee bit more smarter than it is

Great little tools for making tack welds
They're great, but can confirm the high heat warning. Use for tacking only, then remove them. Do not let them get to hot. While holding some angle iron vertically the magnet adhesive smoldered and spit the magnet out ☹️.

Worked Well For My Needs - Holding Power 7 Out of 10 - Tacked Then Removed Quickly
These magnets are convenient and valuable for welding. The only downside is that the magnets are lower powered than expected. They hold okay but not GREAT. The clamps' flexibility allows for a large variety of holding angles. I took the advice of other reviewers and promptly removed the clamps from the materials right after tacking them in place. After performing six welds, the magnets retained their initial strength.

Great Magnets
This magnets make welding so much easier. They're very strong- Stronger than you'd think. The jointed design makes them able to hold metal stock at odd angles. It's like having several extra sets of hands. Just watch out- The strength of the magnets makes cleaning metal shavings and dust off of them a chore.
