Great solution for old or damaged operator covers
I bought my house a few years ago and the sellers did a quick sloppy paint job around some of the windows, painting over some of the hardware including my operator covers. I was able to soak some of the metal window hardware in hot soapy water to get the paint off but was unable to get the paint off the plastic operator covers. We are remodeling my bathroom and I don't want the sloppy partially painted operator covers to stand out after the rest of room looks great.Of course Amazon has a solution for me. For under $10 each I was able to replace 4 covers and they look great. The plastic seems to be a little thinner than the originals but that made them more flexible and easy to install. They even came with screws with heads painted to match the covers. Great Deal! Great Product! See picture of my before and after.

Bezel fit perfectly on my 1995 Anderson casement Window.
The bezel could not have fit or color matched better on my Anderson casement windows from 1996. These windows were only made by Anderson Windows for a few years and were top of the line with metal stone coated exterior frames and wood interior.

It feels a bit fragile, but hasn't broken yet
It feels a bit fragile, but hasn't broken in the 3 months I've had it on there. We are being very gentle with opening and closing the bedroom window though. It did fit perfectly, and installing required a wee bit of bending the plastic ... I don't know how I would install a metal one, as the way the whole assembly is designed it seems like there has to be some give to pop it in place. Anyway, I waited 3 months to see if it would last (I know, not long), before buying the second one that we need. Buying that now so, 4 stars. We rarely open the window from now until May, so comment and ask me next August if you want a durability update.

Perfect fit replacement
The most important thing is that it was a perfect fit for our old Andersen windows. The plastic is a bit flimsy so when closing the windows sometimes the crankshaft stops pulling the window in because the cover flexes away from the window instead, but that is only for the stickier windows that don’t fit the frame well. Still 5 star worthy and I bought a couple extras in case anyone cranks it too hard and it breaks.

Worked
Cheap piece of plastic but it did fit our Andersen window. When my son took the old cracked one off that too was made of plastic, just a hair thicker than the replacement. It does the trick so can't complain there.

Perfect Replacement with a simple modification...
Pro tip: Use a small handheld grinder or trimmer to cut off all of the tabs before installing these so they are 100 billion times easier to remove when painting. The two screws will hold them just fine without the multiple tabs that are obviously designed to make these break when removing. Perfect replacement for 35 year old Andersen Windows in good condition. Looks like new again.

I tried to get one at the Lowes and they didn't carry them. they said to call Anderson.
the old one was broken and smashed. The new one replaced it great. It was just what I needed and fixed my window fine.
