When I unboxed it, it was smudged and the accessories package torn open at the bottom. So I wondered if it was a returned item. However, that was no big deal. The cat liked it for a few minutes the initial time I put treats in it, but not subsequently, even with treats. I think it moved too fast.But my biggest problems were not being able to secure the feather onto the toy and the chirping noise. The instructions on the last picture say you can long press the on/off to turn off chirp. It maybe worked for a minute but then the sound came back. Hard to say since it only chirps if it leans over a lot. Also, the picture says you can press the wand on so that you can lift the toy by the wand. That is not so. The wand encounters a stop that I can not force it beyond. So the feather lifts off easily. When the cat removes it, the toy stops until you intervene. :-OSmall on/off switch is a plus. Treat dispensing is a plus; though Greenies are almost too large, Party Mix are almost too small. But both will dispense, it's just the rate that is problematic. Top of treat area requires a bit of force to open and that's good since it won't open accidentally during play.Since the toy just wobbles and spins around (it does not travel) it will probably work just fine on carpet. It worked for me on a rug and on hardwood. The cat is strong enough to move, slide and tilt it.So there's nice features about the toy, but unforturnately, it just doesn't work for me or my cat.

The stick comes out too easily. A cat is a rough predator and my cat is a small tornado. I had to tape the stick. I wish it could be activated by the cat at any time

This is cute one of my cats loves this type of toy! but she likes to play and drag it around with her and the little feather/ streamer thing just slides right off. if the cat just batted it around and didn't bite it and drag it like mine it prob would be ok. thinking of supergluing it to the ball lol

I have a young cat that absolutely loves this. She drags it around. The only problem that I had is that the feather was easily pulled out. I put some hot glue on it and problem solved. Since I am not planning on putting treats in it, it doesn't matter that I can't open it. Wondering if there are replacement feathers available because these won't hold up to her very long. Also don't understand the little ball that came with it. Is just a little side toy? Doesn't fit into anything.

So my cat loves this. Absolutely loves it. I like that it comes with 2 different attachments that I can switch out. Watching her play with it is absolutely hilarious. The one downfall is that it chirps and it’s incredibly annoying. I couldn’t find a way to turn it on and turn the sound off at the same time. If I could turn the sound off this would be perfect!!!!

Bonus gift a plus

My kitten loved this for a few weeks, then as all cats do, lost interest. It was nice to have different variety of tops that you could change out to keep his interest. Unfortunately he was able to pull them off within a minute of playing with it. Then I would have to dig them out from underneath the couch and put them back on for him to remove them again. I ended up gluing his favorite top onto it permanently.

this toy has no option to turn the chirping off so for that alone i rate this three stars the topper dangle items come off very easily and my cat had them all over the house. they did not like this toy at all.
