Best dandruff shampoo
For years I was struggling to remove the dandruff in cold weather and it was damaging the hairs also, and after one single use it worked like a miracle. I am now using max twice a week and after applying must keeping it for 5 minutes before the rinse. Also no more itchyness. Just a life saving product.

Same as the Nizoral you get in the U.K.
This is the Indian version of Nizoral. The packaging says it is made with a shampoo base mixed with keteronizorol. The same ingredient in Nizoral. The percentage of the magic ingredient is 2% which is the same as Nizoral. The colour is properly the big difference in that it is darker red, than the brighter pink solution in Nizoral. The product is made in India. The product works the same as the U.K. version of Nizoral.I got this as it was 100 ml rather than the 60ml you get with Nizoral. Also there was a U.K. shortage of Nizoral when I tried to order. Some of the U.K. sellers knew this and used the bottle of Nizoral from about £6-£7 to £14-£15. This item was notmincreased in line with that the profiteers tried to pull off..The smell is like a generic shampoo brand ie it isn’t perfumed or any scent added. The smell reminds me of base shampoo ie like soft baby shampoo.I have psoriasis and this is used once to twice a week depending on the flare up. This stops the itch of the yeast on your scalp. Is the main ingredient in this shampoo Keteronizorole that is in this shampoo the best thing since sliced bread? No because it isn’t in Nizoral either. What it does is control the proliferation of yeast in your scalp and you might get away with once a week. I have on occasions used twice. It isn’t recommended to use this as a daily shampoo because you don’t get much for your money compared to an ordinary bottle of shampoo which could be 500ml. But it isn’t designed as an everyday shampoo. When I started using shampoos with Keteronizorole as the main ingredient in it you are recommended to use this daily for the first 7 days and to use once or twice a week. I found that when using the main ingredient keteronizorole which is in this shampoo for more than 7 days it actually makes your psoriasis flare up really bad.Would I purchase again? Yes.

It works amazingly
I have tried many different things over the years to clear my dandruff. This stuff works !!From the first wash I was dandruff free and it still hasn’t returned.Ok it’s smell is a bit bathroom cleaner but that’s the only downside

Works but you’d need more than one bottle
Danfree 2% Ketoconazole Shampoo is great for tackling dandruff. It’s effective, gentle on the scalp, and leaves your hair feeling clean. If you’re struggling with stubborn flakes, this is definitely worth trying!

Small bottle for the price.
This bottle is very small. However you only need to use a tiny amount as it lathers up really well. Clean smell and feel a pleasant tingling on the scalp after use Jury is out on its effectiveness as I’ve only used it a couple of times. Value for money is debatable, depending on results.

The best by far
Unlike Nizoral this foams up really really well and is by a country mile the best for anyone who needs a medicated anti dandruff-anti itching shampoo.

Avoid unknown brands
Doesn't include an ingredient list - 'shampoo blend' isn't very reassuring.

Expired 6 months ago (but still the only thing that does the job)
This is the only product that works for me. Nizoral made my scalp worse, despite it having the same main ingredient. But the product delivered had expired 6 months ago (I'm writing this on 7th April 2025), and I see I'm not the only person to have had that problem, so it's definitely something to keep in mind!
