Good looking and good size

Can't believe the detail for the price. Incredible. My husband bought it as a reference for a carving project and loves it.

Looked great in the picture when I ordered it. Got good reviews. Upon opening I discovered the base had been smashed to pieces! Totally wrecked. Needless to say I returned it and got a refund. Yes, they tell you it’s resin but what the don’t say is it’s hollow and brittle. Hence it being smashed in transit. Don’t buy it. I’ll stick to Leonardo wild life figures in future. They’re resin but a heavy and solid and quality detailed. As for this eagle, a huge disappointment.

I’m so pleased with the purchase, just like the picture.

The base and the eagle are all one mould. When opening the packaging the base was broken away from the main statue and crumbled. The item came in a polystyrene mould. Luckily the base has broken flush so I can still have the item stood upright level, withought the base. I think the item was broken when it was packaged, but the moulds plastic is thin. I could have flipped the base and glued it on but would likely break again and would have to paint the underside of the base.
