Does not block outside sound
My old dt 770 earpads would not allow any sound in. I could have fan right next to my ear full blast and couldn't hear it. With these replacements I can hear my silent pc fans and people in the other room. I really wish it was not like this because they are insanely comfortable

Horrible replacement
Spend the extra money and get the oem replacements. The foam is super thin and not remotely close to the density as the original pads you get. These replacements let a ton of sound in and feel very cheap compared to the originals. Returned these items after I could hear the neighbors walking outside of the hall where I couldn't even hear the cooler fans ramp up. Do not buy, spend the extra for oem or try a different brand.
