Brilliant pad to work in.

Brought specifically for using with gouache as a good portable size, and cheap enough to use without worrying about wasting paper. Main selling point for me was it was bound on both shorter sides with adhesive so I could use quickly. However, I used a plastic ruler and then tried a knife to separate the pages. Hopeless. Just ripped. Saw similar comments on the international site. THEN I tried my thin 30cm metal ruler and pages separated like a dream. At 160gsm didn't expect it to take lots of water but seemed to work perfectly with the layers of gouache added. Cockled up when wet but dried perfectly flat. Does the job I need it to do. Consider the first page a tester to work out what works best to separate the pages!
