Works as intended and super easy to install. Fits standard sliding glass doors. I wish there was a feature to block the flap to prevent pets from going inside/outside instead of taking it out of the door frame but it’s easy enough to move so not a big deal. Just make sure you can fit through the remaining width of the open door otherwise you’ll have to remove it and put it back (though it’s easy to do). My 2 dogs can go through it easily. The largest is my standard sized golden doodle (60#).

We installed the Patio Pet Door in our living room to give our five cats easy access to the patio, and it’s been a fantastic addition! The installation process was straightforward, and we love how simple it is to take the panel down when it’s not needed. It fits securely in the door track and works perfectly for our sliding doors. The cats have adapted to it quickly, and it’s made their outdoor adventures much easier. Highly recommend this for pet owners looking for a practical and easy-to-use solution!

This is a great answer for a temporary dog door. It's easy to set up, I wanted something that I didn't have to screw in or use other hardware. I like the fact that I can easily set it up and take it out. Like many other reviewers mentioned, it doesn't fit great. There's a gap where more sliders have the lock (see photo). I did purchase weather stripping and installed that on the dog door and that has helped. I would strongly recommend measuring your door first to make sure you have enough room to get out on the side of it so you don't have to take it out everytime you want to go out (I did measure and I can get out sideways, but I can get out!) It's not the highest quality, however, the price is right and it does what it says.

Really wonderful idea. Either poor engineering design or extremely poor testing prior to full development. In order to extend the screen to fit various heights, there are screws with plastic levers. Flip the levers up, loosen the screw, adjust the height, tighten the screw, and flip the levers down. Unfortunately, the plastic lever is too bulky for the narrow width of the product frame to allow the screen to properly insert into the lip of the sliding door frame. If the manufacturer would make the frame of this product wider by 1-1.5 inches and keep the adjustment clips positioned close to the screen, it *should* allow for this product to properly insert into any sliding glass door frame. Due to this design failure, I cannot recommend this product for anyone with dogs over 15 pounds. Anyone with a smaller dog should use caution as the ill-fitting frame can cause the "doggy screen door" to fall out of the door frame and scare your pet.

This door piece works the way it is supposed to. We have to tape the flap open, because our cat won’t go in and out unless it’s opened. Otherwise it works the way it’s intended, and it’s a lot cheaper than the glass versions. But, you have to be very careful removing this, if you are taking it out of the door jamb, and lose your grip, it falls out the door. That causes the very bottom piece to snap. If the side pieces were a solid unit all the way to the bottom, this problem wouldn’t happen.

Easy to put up and down whenever I need it. It took my cats months to figure out the door but after they learned it's the become perfect solution to letting them out on my patio and keeping bugs out. If i want to keep the door open overnight I simply lift the screw tightener and take it down.

Now this is a product that needs a little TLC after you buy it, but it installs really easy and it does what it says it will do. You will have to get your own weather stripping if you plan on keeping the bugs out and depending on how wide your door is you may or may not have to take it in and out if you want to use your door during the day. It set in the track just fine but its not a solid connection unless you plan on screwing it in the door frame itself ( which it has pilot holes to do so ). clamping a long piece of wood to the frame will help to stabilize it more and to add weather stripping without taping it to the door itself making it easier to remove and reinstall as needed. This is not a secure door way at all and will not keep anyone from entering your home so remove it while not at home.

Good quality but only good for wide patio doors. Otherwise you have to take it out every time you want to go out your self.

If I’m completely honest it’s probably a 3 out 5 star product in terms of quality. So why give it 5 star?? Because my balcony door is not a standard size. Apparently there are two standard sizes of patio doors that most of pet companies make and neither has the right height range. My balcony is 84 inches tall for reference. I was hesitant to get this because what I really wanted was one with the glass, but I searched high and low and unless I wanted to pay big bucks for a custom fitted one, the was virtually my only option. So I bought it along with some plexiglass and some weather proofing strips. The door has the grooves that plexiglass can slide in. The plexiglass came in a roll, and I cut it to size but it wouldn’t lay flat and would pop out of the grooves which is why you can see some black duct tape, but this is my fault for purchasing the wrong type of plexiglass not an issue with the patio door. Anyway I was satisfied with the end result. We got it at the beginning of January and it blocked most of the cold air and we still stayed warm. Still doing well and I gotta say I’m super happy I ended up getting. I’m glad it’s even available considering I had no other options. So the extra stars are for 1 for making a product that fits my balcony door, 2 for being super affordable compared to other patio doors and 3 for keeping my dog and cat super happy as they can people watch whenever they feel like it without having to wait for me to open the balcony door. Edit: For reference my dog is about 55 lb, mixed shepherd breed. Hates motorcycles so he runs through the flap door at full speed whenever he hears one and the patio door has not budged.

Sehr gute Qualität. Eher für Katzen und kleine Hunde. Da wir 5 Katzen haben sehr gut geeignet. Das Magnet musste ich entfernen, da die Klappe sonst zu fest gehalten wird, jedenfalls für unsere Katzen. Eine hat es bis heute nicht begriffen wie das gehen soll, obwohl sie zuschaut wenn die anderen durchgehen.
