For a home small studio (or portable studio) this can work in a pinch.Now for the not-so-good:The backdrop has creases, so if you want professional grade photos, anticipate extra time in post to fixing these.Lights just have an on/off function. Not able to control the intensity or warmth/color. No ability to inherently trigger from some other transmitter or remote device. So for photography, this may cause extra strain on an individual for portraits (scrunched face/eyes/etc)However, if you are doing film/video recording, these may be a decent option for you. Or if your subject isn't a person in photography.In spite of the drawbacks, I would recommend this product still. The quality and the amount of stuff you get at that price point, you honestly can't beat.

The backgrounds are listed as "muslin" and they are clearly not. They are a paper material, like what is used to make surgical gowns. One came torn through the package and several layers because it was packed next to the metal of one of the umbrellas. I would've given 0 stars if it was an option.

I bought this light to have for my own photo shoot and video recording. This was perfect for what I need. It was a great price and easy setup.
