Excellent Replacement Heater for our Tiger River Spa
My husband said he had to do a bit of research to make sure it was the heater that was the issue. I finally found a video that told me to check the voltage of the leads coming off the main board, right after turning it on. For a short bit, before it times out, you can test the voltage and if there's voltage there but it doesn't heat, then it's probably the heater. My model number was not a direct replacement for this unit so I wasn't sure it would work but the length, width, height, connections, power requirements, etc were all the same as the unit I took out so I was fairly sure it would work.Easily switched the units out, fired up the tub and boom....back in business. The good new is it worked. The bad news is it stopped working about a week later...but it wasn't the heater this time. So being an old tub, it seems things were all beginning to fail and this time it was the circulation pump. Back to Amazon to order one.

heater has been nothing but problem
Bought this to replace near identical heater on a Grandee model tub from Spring dance. Had it installed by my plumber. Didn't work. Had to have spa company come out, they found a bad sensor-fortunately I still had the original heater and they took sensor from that and used on this and thought it was fine. Heater still doesn't work properly, only reaches temps above 100 if I run jets on full power for hours and then cools down to low 90's over night. Heater is obviously defective and I had spa company out again and they indicated as it wasn't their replacement heater, they had no idea what was wrong and it is my problem. So much for saving money-should have gone with the $800 installed new heater originally from spa company-will spend mroe than taht with all the repairs and it still doesn't work.

Heater went in fine
I have a ‘98 model. This heater fit well and heats the water faster than I expected. There is a slow drip at the rubber seal. I thought it would stop but hasn’t, so may have to look into returning or getting a replacement tip.

Hot Tub Heater
This is a very inexpensive heater. They tend not to last more than three or four yrs. But worth it!
