Good quality, succulent, but not a strong flavour
This is wild salmon in salt water (brine is not listed in ingredients, just water and salt) 'caught by local boats during the annual migration...', thus meriting the description 'sustainably-fished'. The flavour is what I have come to expect from this fish - mild and not very 'fishy' - so I like to have some in my tinned fish drawer, but don't often eat it; these tins are marked best before 8/5/26, and it will take me that long to get through them. High-quality and very toothsome, and makes a nice omelette if Worcester Sauce is added, but a little expensive.

Fantastic
The salmon tastes really fresh and is so easy to add to meals. I usually toss it in a pasta salad with cherry tomatoes, rocket salad, and a bit of lemon juice, or use it in wraps with avocado and spinach. Knowing it's sustainably sourced makes me feel even better about buying it. Great value.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Would recommend and purchase more. Excellent quality!

large box of cans - looks naturally coloured, tastes fantastic
The elephant-in-the-room to me is the list price at circa £70 at the time of my review - so I'll remark on this first - I actually don't think it's entirely unreasonable because this is wild fish and almost a catering sized pack of tins, so there's a value proposition in there and I appreciate the natural fish. It has a variety of colours which I approve of because its not been unnaturally dyed, and the can opens really moist, and benefits from draining (I actually used some of the liquid as almost a seasoning elsewhere in the meal). The flavour is good, not pungent or fishy.

12 cans of red salmon, pricey, very strong off putting smell, that you don't get with fresh fish.
12 cans of wild pacific red salmon. 170g as is, 120g when drained. After a few weeks, trying this salmon out, I've found the taste to get worse. They are presented in cans, like meaty steaks, and when cooking, has a very strong, off putting smell. If you plan to have leftovers, again, the smell will make your food bowl stink. You don't get this experience with tuna, and will always buy fresh salmon. As this listing stands, the price is likely out of range for many, so can't fully get behind this product. If sold in smaller batches, or by can, it can make it affordable for all.For comparison, over the holiday season, I head out to the supermarket and buy a whole salmon for around £30, and it lasts around 4 days. These 12 cans, as of writing, cost £69.50, with a best before date of 2026.Very thankful to be able to try these as part of the Amazon Vine program, but can't wholeheartedly recommend.

A bit expensive
When I opened the first can of this salmon, there was a large pink piece of salmon. When I drained the water, I didn't lose any salmon flakes down the drain like I usually do. It all looks nice, and, most importantly, it has no skin. As usual, the salmon is a bit dry for me, almost as dry as the tuna, which may not suit everyone. The taste is good, and it is a very good product. It's just a pity that the price is so high.

Amazing quality!
I've had the tuna from this brand before and it was brilliant so my expectations were high for this red salmon. The salmon is absolutely delicious and you get a surprising amount of it in a tin. It says there's no skin in these but I can confirm I found small pieces of skin in multiple of my cans which didn't bother me since I like the skin, but keep that in mind if it's important to you!I use these in pasta but they're great in salad too, would definitely get them again if they sold the tins separately!

Healthy, convenient and tasty
This is a pack of 12 x 170g can of red wild salmon sourced from Pacific when the salmons migrate back to Alaska or western Colombia. The big chunk of salmon fillets are brined in the can without bones and skin. It is convenient for adding into any pasta dishes, mixing with vegetable salad or making salmon sandwich. The canned salmon is rich in Omega 3 and a healthy meat substitute in our daily dishes. I love sandwiches filled with salmon or tuna. It provides all the benefits of salmon without dealing with its scales, skin and bones of a fresh salmon. This fish is caught mainly using poles and lines by small local boats in order to maintain true sustainability. If you enjoy the benefits of fish dishes but don't want the hassles of dealing with fresh fishes, this product is certainly good for you although it is not cheap.
