This is an excellent product. The VR's (Variable Resistors) are 'D'-shaped, measuring 6mm from top to bottom of the 'D"-shape and around 7mm from front to back of the 'D'. The pinout is designed primarily to fit 1/10" Veroboard and is made from a spring material. Their bow-legged shape causes them to fit with a little click. They stay put then, ready for soldering or easy removal, the fitting being repeatable. Being as they self-lock into position, the soldering cannot produce a dry or inferior joint.Dynamically, they sweep very slightly short of their design parameter, from around 1% or just under to 99.8%. I'm pretty fussy, but would never fault them for values that will never be used.They bear three screwdriver slots, one blade driver slot larger than the other in the form of a cross, thus they will also accommodate a small cross-head screwdriver.The values are very clearly printed on each device, they being digits from 0-9 in the first two positions, the third digit being a multiplier. Thus 203 = 20K; 153=15K and 101=100 Ohms. The range of the VR's overlap to cover all possible preset values.Bearing in mind that these are presets, they are quite robust and will take many, many adjustments. In terms of adjustment operations they are extremely contiguous with no stuttering or noise during operation. I recently built a 50 KHz Xtal oscillator where the fo was adjusted by a potentiometer and I found that, with care, a 50K VR out of the box, could actually adjust the oscillator to within a 1/10th of one cycle. That is an extremely find adjustment, but is proof of just how clean-cut and precise these VR's are in operation. Once set, they stay put.What makes them so easy to set is their silky smoothness of operation. By now, you will have guessed that I'm quite impressed by this product and you are quite right, I am.300 pcs at a reasonable price, I doubt any other country could match that for price, except China. For small current and prototype work, these are a must for any stock cupboard or toolbox and they come in a plastic box that has snap locking, which has proven quite secure.I have no hesitation in recommending this product as I've never encountered better.

I love having multiple parts boxes for experimenting with circuits and designs. These drift a little but this is perfectly normal. Bear this in mind. You get what you pay for. Good product overall.
