Warmth for the Whole Room
The Comfort Zone Oscillating Portable Space Heaters (purchased two) have worked out great in our large TV/entertainment room - very quiet & a single heater warms the room quickly on chilly days. This past Winter during the 'Polar Vortex' invasion we needed both of the heaters on opposite ends of the room. Note: This is a RADIANT heater, NO fan so it takes a while, maybe 45-60 minutes to take the chill off in the mornings; however, after the initial warming, it keeps the room very comfortable and shuts off periodically during the day.The description indicates the the heater has a 'tilt' function - as far as we've been able to determine IT DOES NOT TILT NOR DOES IT HAVE ANY MECHANISM (nor instructions) TO INDICATE A TILT FUNCTION. However, this has not been a concern and tbh I don't really see a need to have a tilt function!?!Would we buy again? Definitely!! It heats rapidly and with no fan it's ideal while watching TV and/or gaming.

Good value
I'm really impressed with this item! From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell it was well-made and designed with the user in mind. Setup was straightforward and quick, which is always a huge plus.In terms of performance, it has consistently exceeded my expectations. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, and it does it reliably and efficiently. I've been using it regularly for a while now, and it still feels as good as new. What I particularly appreciate is its ease of use. The features are intuitive, and I didn't need to consult a manual to figure things out. It truly makes my life easier.Overall, this has been an excellent purchase, and I genuinely feel it offers great value for the price. If you're looking for a dependable and high-quality item that delivers on its promises, you won't be disappointed with this one.

Does the job for an 800 watt oscillating heater.
Rather large for an 800 watt unit, but has worked well so far. Has a convenient carry handle and top controls. You can use it with or without oscillation. The back of the unit is not hot at all. On the High setting, it puts out quite a bright visible light, so you might not want it in a bedroom except on the Low setting. Checked it with a Kill-a-Watt meter: the actual output read 775 watts on the High setting and 455 watts on the Low setting. This is fine for my purposes. Made in China, so I wonder how long it will last.

Much better than expected, noiseless and clean design
I was looking for an alternative heating source so I don't have to keep the house furnace running constantly. i didn't like what I found in the stores so I started shopping online. There are plenty products with high reviews so I did my research. I noticed some bad reviews about this product but then people complained about the noise of the fan on other heaters so with all my hesitation I bought this halogen heater. It is an amazing product. Now I believe some people complain just to complain. I have to admit that if you are planning on sleeping in the room with this heater on, this may not be the perfect choice, it is bright at night. As for other complains I completely disagree. It does not look cheap nor the safety tip has any issues(at least for me) in fact I appreciate the little safety pin underneath the heater. If the heater tips over, it shuts down automatically. Simple but necessary feature. It is a very clean design, the frame does not get hot and it is noiseless. There are two 400 and 800 W settings which suffice perfectly for your normal use rather than the complicated ones. My office is about 200 feet, I use the 400 setting on regular winter days(30-50 F) and 800 W setting for cold days(20-40 F). Given there is no other heat source running during the day, it keeps it warm; not toasty, just warm. Again if you don't mind the brightness of it, Do not look elsewhere :)

Mediocre heater
I purchased this heater to use in the living room. Don't expect this unit to heat any room, even a small one. It is more for use in close proximity as it does not really radiate any heat.PROS: Love the oscillating function. Dial is easy to reach on the top and has high and low functions with oscillation as an option for each. My friend says he likes the fact that you can put your hands or feet (with socks!) close to the unit without burning yourself from high output...that said some might find that a con since it is obviously not putting out that much heat. I also like the fact that it has a trip switch on the bottom so if the unit tips or is lifted it immediately shuts off.CONS: Like I said, the heat output isn't that substantial. But if you want to set it by the couch or on a table by your bed, it will keep you toasty as long as you are 1-3 feet max away from it (more like 1-2 feet).Bottom line: if you're looking for a heater to OUTPUT heat or even heat a little space, I'd recommend going with a ceramic heater that blows out hot air (I also have one of these and it fills my bathroom with warm air and keeps it that way.) The Comfort Zone CZHTV9 doesn't really warm a room, but it will keep your toasty if you're close to it...it's a mediocre heater, and you can probably find a better heater for the money. (I'd suggest one of those box radiant heaters with the metal grill on the front. A friend had one and it worked fantastic at heating a space...should've stuck with that kind myself!)
