Quality headset, well made and great sound.
I was pleasantly surprised with this headset, Ive owned many premium headsets in the past but wanted to break free from wires and cables, Ive owned other turtle beach wireless headsets which to be fair had there faults and pros, The Stealth Pro model on the other hand is a very good all purpouse headset, im using it on my Original XBox one with no issues at all, it even set up everything on the xbox for me with no need to do anything but select Dolby Atmos in the setting, With the Phone App by my side i can tweak the sound prefrences on the fly, Adjust mic mixing and much more, The default sound signiture is very good, but once tweaked it is litterally game changing, i can hear in game sounds i couldent before, Footsteps are almost pinpoint accurate, The level of detail in the sound is phenominal, its like playing a new game to be honest, Lets talk about build quality, Wow! They just feel substantial, very premium feeling, and i dont feel daft using them as regular headphones, they look stylish and not so much like a gaming headset when the mic is unpluged. They are weighty so if you dont like slightly heavy headsets this is probably not for you, but they are super comfortable, even with glasses they were not kidding in the description, i can bearly tell i have them on, no annoying pressure on your glasses frames which my old headsets would do, it would press the frames hard on the nose causing discomfort before long, i can report these do not cause this discomfort even after a long gaming session. Bear in mind these are not vented earcups so they can get a bit warm on the ears, Which most headphones do, Just the traits of over ear headphones, simple solution is to take them off periodically to let your ears breath lol. Updates: Update them right away, the sound improved after the firmware was updated, it also stops the App bothering you about the update pending lol. What can I say, Bravo Turtle beach, this headset is by a longshot hands down the best gaming headset ive used in a long time, Not only that can be used just as well for HD music listening which easily performs as well if not better than my Expensive sony HD headphones. Just buy it, You won't be disappointed.

Great Sound
I read a lot of reviews before deciding to spend a fair bit of money for a premium headset and I'm glad to say I bought these. I have owned a nice pair of Turtle beach elites before but these are the top dog. A premium build and comfortable to wear for hours. The app has lots of adjustments and enhancements and a nice equaliser to make these truly sound great in all environments and you can make and save custom presets to make life easier. I am very happy with this headset.

First TB headset that I've hated...
It looks good, and the build quality seems to be good as well. However, the buttons on the ear cup are just awful, there is no 'feedback' when you press them, no click, so you're constantly left wondering, did that actually work? They were comfortable to wear, I wear glasses and they were great with them. Sound quality was a mixed bag, I literally had to have the volume turned nearly to max level (indicated on the iPhone App) just to be able to hear anything at a reasonable volume, which was a bit surprising (and no, I'm not deaf, thank you), when you could hear it, it was decent quality and I could hear where people were coming from (footsteps) in COD:MW2 multiplayer pretty well. However, the headset was besieged with annoying issues in the software department, it was relatively new in terms of how long it had been out when I bought it, so there were some issues. Namely, things you'd set up in the app on your phone wouldn't stay as you'd set them, they'd return to defaults each time you powered off and powered the headset back on again. I put up with it as I knew it (should) be a simple firmware update to fix, and I was hoping the volume issue may get fixed as part of this too. How wrong I was.The firmware update was a disaster, I was using a Macbook Pro, as I didn't have access to a Windows PC, but I thought it shouldn't be an issue as Mac is supported, which I checked prior to purchasing the headset. Obviously, I can only tell you about it from my experience, it literally took the headset out when I tried to do the update, so much so, I had to return the item to Amazon for a refund as it was unusable to me.TB initially released an update, but I wasn't able to do it as my Mac only has Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports and the cables supplied with the headset are USB-C to the headset but USB-A to the computer, so rather than buy another Apple USB-C to USB A adaptor cable which I already had, I decided to buy USB Hub, as you have to connect both the headset and the transmitter to the computer to do the update. However, when you read the details on the firmware page, TB don't recommend using USB hubs or adaptors for the update, which when all you've got is the latest Mac which doesn't have native USB-A connections, leaves you somewhat perplexed as using a hub or adaptor is the only option available to you, other than buying a Windows PC (no thanks). On the day my Hub arrived I went on to the TB software to do the update, but there was nothing there, turns out after checking their website, it had been pulled, as some folks were having issues pairing the headset to the transmitter.Fast forward a couple of weeks and the update was available again, at least according to my iPhone app, as I said, I used it every time to turn on things like ANC and turn off mic monitoring etc as these settings weren't being saved following a power off, but when there is an update it won't allow you to use the app - another annoying issue with this headset. So I power up the Mac, connect everything, tells me firmware is up-to-date. So I go back to the TB website thinking it's been pulled again. Turns out it hasn't, so why is my headset not updating? It says the latest update would take me to something like 4.11 and I'm on 3.11.So I decide to press the reset button on the transmitter as that can prompt an update, so I do this, and it was a big mistake, after it supposedly did the update, it never worked again. So all in all a nightmare experience with this headset. Was using a Mac with a USB adaptor the issue? Unknown, one other person reported the same thing as via Reddit when I posted on there, but from what I understand there are PC users who had the same thing too, so I'm thinking it was just down to the firmware TB released. In the end I purchased the Microsoft Wireless Headset, and what a difference. The headset is updated via the console, like the controllers are. You can adjust the EQ settings for the headset using the Microsoft Accessories app, no need to connect to a computer for updates at all, such a much better and seamless experience. And if you adjust the EQ, you are left with a fantastic, light-weight comfortable headset that sounds really great, all for over £200 less than this offering from TB.

High spec but unreliable
Brought this headset as a gift for Christmas, was impressed with all the options and settings, my dad especially liked the super hearing setting. However not after 2 weeks of use the headsets microphone stopped picking up audio and started crackling. We took extra care with this headset always putting it in the carry case and was never dropped but the microphone just stopped working. When speaking to turtle beach they stated that some of their models had a problem with mic drop out due to faulty manufacturing and that they were sorting out a resolution but for the price you pay its not good enough. I've resolved to getting a refund on the headset and gone for a more reliable cheaper pair that I myself have had for 3 years with no problems. It's a shame as the this headset had amazing speakers and comfort but having faults for £270 is not ok. Be careful ordering this product.
