Great Horror Flick Witch you must have!
I was in the process of upgrading my movie collection when I came across the Witch section of my movie library. This is a great movie & stands alone regardless of genre. The sound & visual quality are excellent, so the price. It was shipped fast & well protected. For me it was a must have. It references " The Witches of Eastwick" a movie & book that has permeated Pop Culture. This movie is straight horror & exposes the risks involved with messing around with the Occult. This is a complex movie as it has Anti-Hero's instead of traditional heroes. I hate spoilers so I'll just say by the end of the film everyone gets their Just Deserves. You really can't go wrong with this purchase. If you have never seen this movie, it's worth it just to view it once in the comfort of your home. If you have seen it, I'm sure you will agree it's the kind of movie you can enjoy watching many times. Being an artist, I love widescreen as you see what was intended to be seen. Also, I can watch a movie many times, because once I've enjoyed it as entertainment I can then scrutinize. every scene, looking for "flub's" or appreciating background sets. Purchase without reservations, entertaining, scary, memorable imagery, and just plain fun!

"Is It Good?"
You never know who you'll encounter at a Sinister Creature Convention... Recently it was Fairuza Balk! What a real sweetheart... When we met she greeted me with an enthusiastic "Hi!"... Not sure what she made of me in my Terran Empire uniform... Anyway, I bestowed admiration for her work in Almost Famous and The Island Of Dr. Moreau, then confessed I had never seen The Craft... Shocked, she said "YOU HAVEN'T?"... I smiled and asked, "Is it good?"... Again, an enthusiastic "YES!!"... She also added that the sequel is good too... "Sequel?", I asked... "There's a sequel?" Yes, made years later, and she's in it... Anyway, she played down The Craft... It wasn't just "Good"... It was REALLY GOOD! A+ Kudos, Bravo, Excelsior! Looking forward to the sequel now: The Craft- Legacy... Ms. Balk, should you read this, VERY nice meeting you... Keep up the stellar work!

This Cult film is an entertaing and fun watch. Good addition to your Halloween Collection!
This is the 1996 cult film about witchcraft. Directed and Written by Andrew Fleming. It stars Fairuza Balk as Nancy; Robin Tunney as Sarah; Neve Campbell as Bonnie; Rachel True as Rochelle, and Skeet Ulrich as Chris. The story: Sarah, a sweet looking girl, moves into town. Her High School proves to be difficult when her first date with a local boy named Chris, ends up with him lying about her to all his friends who respond by teasing her. Further, she is basically invisible with the female population until she is approached by three girls who are more unpopular than she is.The girls want her to join their coven of witches so their number will be four they tell her. One for each directional point. They show her their magical powers to entice her and we see levitation, clouds of butterflies, telekinesis, and all sorts of supernatural things.Sarah agrees and each girl begins to use their increased magical powers for revenge on their school mates. Sarah goes first and puts a love spell on Chris that changes his bad behavior towards her into love sickness. But the other girl’s revenge goes much farther, and Sarah begins to realize that the girls are using their powers for evil reasons. Especially Nancy, who appears to be slipping into madness as her powers increase. All performances were convincing, but special mention goes to Fairuza Balk. She plays the lead witch with such passion that it’s so startlingly excellent you won’t be able to forget it. This movie is a fun watch and makes a good addition to your Halloween collection.

A Witchy Delight for the Modern Age
As a child of the '90s, I was thrilled to see "The Craft" finally released on Blu-ray. This film was a quintessential part of my adolescence, and I was eager to revisit it in high definition. I'm happy to report that the transfer is excellent, and the film looks better than ever. For those unfamiliar with the story, "The Craft" follows a group of teenage girls who dabble in witchcraft with unexpected consequences. The film is a perfect blend of horror, drama, and teen angst, with a strong feminist message at its core. The performances are top-notch, with Fairuza Balk delivering an iconic performance as the troubled and enigmatic Nancy. One of the things I appreciate most about "The Craft" is how well it has aged. While it's undeniably a product of its time, it still feels relevant and timely, particularly in today's climate of increased awareness and acceptance of witchcraft and other alternative spiritual practices. It's a film that speaks to the struggles of outsiders and the importance of finding a sense of belonging. The Blu-ray release includes some great special features, including a commentary track with director Andrew Fleming, a making-of featurette, and deleted scenes. It's clear that the filmmakers put a lot of care and attention into this release, and it shows.Overall, "The Craft" is a witchy delight for the modern age. Whether you're a fan of '90s horror or just looking for a film that celebrates the power of female friendship and empowerment, this one is not to be missed. Highly recommended!
