We have a fairly high stressed cat and with the use of these calming collars he is a much less stressed cat. Good for him and great for us and the rest of the furpet family! Great product!

Mixed results. It helped one cat who was appearing anxious, but the one I was intending to calm his aggression, it was ineffective. Has a stronger scent, not a complaint, but to be aware if you're sensitive to smells, but the smell got less as time passes. I could barely smell it once we hit three weeks.

I purchased this Atlas calming collar for my cat. I received it this morning and placed sit around my cat’s neck due to her anxiety of constantly chasing her tail and growling. When I adopted her 10 months ago, she came from an abusive domestic household, where she had to be surrendered to a shelter. I noticed the cardboard box stated works within one hour. Yes it certainly did and I noticed for several hours. She did not chase her tail and appeared calm. I did some reading about it being it was scented with lavender essential oil in the collar and it stated toxic to cats that could cause liver damage and respiratory issues. I became terrified and removed it notified Amazon about the issue and I am returning it. I did some research and it states lavender is toxic to cats so why would they even sell this without doing research on it? I was terrified after I removed it checking her breathing and she just kept sleeping terrible product. Anything that’s scented with lavender for cats can cause liver and respiratory issues and possibly death is kept on a long time. I would never recommend this product for your cats. I’m still watching her to make sure she’s OK and she’s still lethargic looking even though I removed the collar two hours ago on the return information it states must be an original packaging with no package opened, etc. hopefully cats ok they better refund my charge on my debit card or I will take this further.

I would like to have given these collars a higher rating, but while I would say they were 90% effective in decreasing the number of quarrels between my felines they weren't all that great because I could never get them to stay on the cats. Every day, often several times a day, I find the collars on the floor and have to track down the kitty who got his off. The biggest reason is when the kitties scratch their necks, their back foot hooks under the collar, and with the first kick, it drops off. These collars do not stay snugged up for the same reason. In addition, the tail of the collar after cutting to size, does not stay under the little flap on the collar where you tuck it. I personally like them for the smell. I think it calms me more than it does the cats! LOL! In all honesty, I cannot recommend them and will not purchase them again.

We have tried EVERYTHING for our cats anxiety. He has been experiencing it since he was born (literally) and it got so much worse when his littermate passed after 10 years together. We had the pheromone diffuser, the spray, the treats annd spent $60 on ONE pack of cbd treats before giving in and getting him an emotional support cat. Nothing worked to prevent him from pacing and crying. He doesn’t typically wear a collar (indoor only) and has hated them in the past, taking them off within minutes. I put this one in loosely due to concerns about it not breaking away when he pulls at it. He is the chillest he has been in YEARS. We have given other the other methods weeks to work with zero improvement. This was insanely effective although I’m sure it varies from cat to cat.

They do in fact smell like old ladies. You can smell your cat before you see them. Like a bell collar for the hearing impaired. They do NOT work on orange cats. 3 out of 4 of our cats are orange and I think it had opposite side effects for them. They aren’t as aggressive with each other now though, so it’s a plus not hearing all of the growling. Now they just enjoy beating each other up. We didn’t choose the orange cat life, the orange cat life chose us. So here we are, writing a review for chill out collars on orange cats. Do with this what you will, but our torti cat seems much more relaxed now.

I used this when I moved to help my cats adjust to the new place, and it really seemed to help. They were noticeably calmer during a stressful transition. I was very happy to have it on hand.

I'm definitely thrilled with the quality of the PetAtlas 4 pack Calming Collar for cats. We just moved from Maine to New York and from the moment I put these collars on, all 4 of my beloved kitties seemed to be less stressed and made my life so much easier. The smell is wonderful and I wish it came in a scent for the whole house. I did leave the collars on the kitties for the first few days as they adjusted to our new surroundings and had no issues at all. The value of this product is worth every penny, and it's definitely not over priced. The collars appearance is similar to a rubber collar and can be adjusted to fit your individual cat, you just fit the collar through the slot and cut off any you don't need. My kitties, Fluffy (original I know), Murphy, Harley & Eric are indoor only and even when placed in their carriers for the long ride, they were very peaceful and calm. Normally , even a short drive to the vet would create a pitiful crying session for the entire ride, but they actually fell asleep for part of the drive (6 hours) and remained calm with no meows! I found these collars to be very safe to use and when no longer needed, can be thrown away. I hope this review helps you make your decision & highly recommend them!
