I am mostly eating seaweed for health reasons. I find laverbread to be a bit of an acquired taste but once you get into it, it can become mildly addictive! Only drawback is it is not cheap!

In the package, you get four tins of Laverbread. The tins are the same kind of tins that you get tinned mackerel in. The tins have pull tabs on them, so you won’t be needing a tin opener. They have a very long life on them. The ones that we got are good until October 2027. Each tin weighs in at 120g. That gives you a total of 480g of laverbread. At £19.99, each tin comes in at around £5. This feels pretty pricey to me. I did a search and these exact tins can be bought direct from the shops for around £2.70. This means that the Amazon price is almost double! On the back of the box that the tins come in, are a couple of recipes to get you going straight away. The ingredients are all natural with no additives - Seaweed, sea salt and water. It doesn’t really get much more pure than that! I tried it and unfortunately, it wasn’t really to my taste. I have always liked seaweed, but this didn’t do it for me. That’s no reason to mark this down though, as taste is a very personal thing and if you are buying this, you probably like it already.

This item was damaged on arrival.I sent an e-mail late at night with photographs to show the damage (which probably happened in a warehouse well before it was sent) in order to give the supplier a heads up on possible damage to other goods. I had a reply offering a replacement within hours.Customer service at its best (and on a Saturday morning too).Other than the damage to 1 of the 4 cans of Laverbread everything is great. A nice breakfast and more to look forward to.Then they gaave a refund.The best.
