The Original Spirograph CLC05111 Travel Set

Very good product. Excellent fun for young children.

Was a present for a grandchild - think it went down well. Seems pleased with it.

This is a nice addition to Spirograph. It comes with only 1 drawing ring and 6 wheels, so is limited in the designs you can do compared to other Spirographs. The ring is described as non slip and it is on the paper provided. Not used on other papers so can't comment on this. Its exactly the same to use as traditional Spirograph, although you do need to use a lot of pressure on the wheel, so for younger users, it may prove tricky. As an avid Spirograph user and already have the traditional set with a full set of rings, wheels, rods and specialist wheels this was a bit of a disappointment. The paper provides the opportunity to produce some stunning Spirograph designs. However if you already have a Spirograph set, you'd be better buying a pack of scratch paper instead. If new to Spirograph I wouldnt buy this as a starter set. However the contents are of good quality which you would expect of this brand. Instructions are clear and easy to follow.

This has not been used as yet it is a Christmas gift unsure who for as yet. May even use myself haha why not. Looks absolutely fabulous great deal so I purchased the Spirograph thank you

I was so excited to buy this for my little girl for Christmas after reminiscing with my husband about how we each had one when we were young. But how disappointed we are! It's a great little set, really neatly packed, all wraps up into the box you see which doubles as the storage case. It has a great guide that tells you how to make each kind of Spiral, in the detail of 'use frame number X, cog number X, do 5 rotations in hole number X then 5 in hole number X' and so on, so you can copy the spirals exactly and this helps you create your own spirals, knowing what one does what pattern. HOWEVER, the disappointing bit... when I had one when I was young (only 20-ish years ago!), it had a sturdy frame that snapped together that held the frame well and didn't slip the cogs unless you went too fast! But this set uses the putty to hold the circle frame down, which I found really difficult to fit and use while showing my daughter how to Spirograph. It's difficult to explain, but the putty holds the outer frame that you put your circle cog into, onto the paper, just slightly too high and so the cog slips underneath sometimes, ruining your design. I've used less putty but it just doesn't hold well enough. I don't know, I don't like the putty version as much as the old version. I think it has been done to allow you to make the larger designs though, as you can now do an outside circle, which I don't remember from before. Anyway, I don't think my daughter particularly enjoyed it as she became quite bored with it so it will be lucky if it comes out of the box again any time soon.

Questo è veramente bello funziona bene e lo puoi anche usare con i fogli molto bello però un piccolo problema erano i 2 pennarelli perché si sono scaricato subito questa cosa non è così bella. Molto bella

War begeistert was für schöne Muster und Grafiken mann mit diesen Set erzeugen kann. Der Preis war zwar ein bisschen hoch aber dafür hält das Set was es Verspricht und mit den ganzen Zubehör lässt sich sehr viel machen. Allerdings werden die beigefügten Zeichenblätter ( jedes einzelne Blatt ) in der Beschreibung als Zubehör mitgezählt was ich sehr übertrieben finde. Würde ich auch anderen als Kauf weiterempfehlen.

È un apparecchio magico. Aiuta i bambini ad esprimersi nel disegno creativo. Si appoggia lo spirografo su un foglio di carta o cartoncino, si inserisce la punta della penna in uno dei fori degli ingranaggi e si fa rotolare il disco all’interno dell’anello. Facilissimo…o quasi! In realtà ci vuole una certa coordinazione perché la rotella giri senza sfuggire dall’ ingranaggio, i più piccoli potrebbero aver bisogno di un po’ di esercizio per ottenere disegni senza sbavature. Mia nipote di 7 anni sarà felicissima.
