these are really smart looks, easy to put together and overall lovely. however do be careful as the lid will warp over time. thankfully it’s perfect for my dwarf scorpion species since she doesn’t climb the sides. just go careful if you were to house a spider or something that can climb in it

I was quite surprised to see negative reviews on this- I have to say I think the bad reviews are coming purely from misunderstanding. These are cracking little enclosures. Then they arrive the pieces have a film on them to protect the acrylic but this can be peeled away, there IS a magnet to secure the lid which is kept in the same little bag that all of the secure bands come with. You are not meant to glue this enclosure, instead you build it and it is secured with strong, clear elastic bands. Because the enclosure is clear you can make some really nice set ups, I’ve had this one awhile and it’s held up brilliantly, just make sure you sift through the packaging when it arrives so you don’t miss the little bag of bits and pieces!

Great for my small isopod and springtail colonies, wouldn’t be suitable for an animal that could open the lid as the magnet doesn’t work. Otherwise, I recommend

The media could not be loaded. I really like the concept of this. But it does not clip together so will need clear glue to secure it.It is also advertised as having a safety mechanism at the front but this did not come with the enclosure.

The lid bowed on both sides which left an opening for the spider to escape - which it did. It had been left in a cool space out of light so no excuses. Poor quality.
