These are the only steps we could find on Amazon, claiming to be lightweight, that actually are! 2kilos for the 2 step and 3 kilos for this 3 step. In spite of its lightness it is sturdy and safe. I often have balance problems but I feel secure, even on the top step. My kitchen cupboards reach to the ceiling and these are just the right height. They are very well designed. The wide top step and the high handrail make these steps easy and secure to use. I wish the orange coloured sponge was black but I am glad I didn’t let it put me off. We keep these downstairs but they are easy to carry upstairs if needed. Our old 2 steps were so heavy I would take risks rather than go down for them so these may well be preventing accidents. Worth every penny!

Perfect for what I needed. Narrow and extremely light but strong and stable on a flat surface. Bought to use in my paved greenhouse where I grow 21 tomato plants in 30ltr pots and being of diminutive stature I needed some steps to facilitate the tying in, pinching out and harvesting the crop and these steps fit the bill perfectly.

I received these ladders today and although they are well made and sturdy they are not as lightweight as I expected . I’m not going to be able to carry them upstairs as I’d hoped. If you’re an older person like me looking for lightweight ladders these are not it. However if you are young and strong they are a good purchase. Perhaps manufacturers should test out “lightweight “ items on people who are over 60 to give them a better idea of how they work for the older generation.

Lightweight and sturdy. Very stable with a good size safety handle. Should be able to do what it says on the package.

Very happy with this item, it is easy to use, light weight, so easy to carry or manoeuvre into place. Stable on level ground inside or out. Excellent value for money.

It’s VERY light to handle, but sturdy when you’re on it. I needed to push a couple of the plastic fitments at the ends of the step plates securely in position, but otherwise ok. I like the soft rubber sleeve around the top as it protects any nearby walls etc when handling.
