24V 1000mA Max 24VA AC Adaptor without lead - Suitable For Christmas Lights

Old transformer broke, faced the prospect of cutting all the lights out of a pre lit tree and having to buy new lights, saw this instead - works a treat!!

I bought this when our old adaptor/transformer packed up on our b&q 24v Christmas lights bought about 4 years ago, b&q don't sell anything like these anymore so wasn't able to get a replacement from there. Bought this as a gamble as I didn't know what size plug it would take, anyway it was exactly the same size as the old one, where the round metal connecting plug on the lightset is just over 5mm in diameter. It is the same make as my old one (CZJUTAI) and only difference is that the cable plugs in at the top instead of the bottom. Works perfectly and arrived in just over two days.Make sure you need an AC supply, as most adaptors convert 230v AC into low voltage DC, this keeps it as AC. There are not many AC 24v adaptors available like this on the Internet, so this is a good buy.

Worked very well as a replacement for my Christmas LED lights power supply. Note it's an AC to AC supply (the notes for the output voltage have a squiggle like ~ on it) unlike most power packs which are AC (mains) to DC. The VA rating is higher than the one replacing it so it should last longer (the VA rating is a measure of the power it can provide to the lights). The connection on the top is female, approx. 6mm diameter. Doesn't get too warm in operation with my lights. Sealing rating is IP20.Will probably buy another as my other power pack has just failed!

Couldn’t find the original plug/adapter for Christmas lights- but this one did the job.

When plugged in it made a very loud buzzing noise. Could have been a one off but others have reported this too. I couldn't have used this product for the potential fire risk it would have caused. Returned for a refund

The transformer on our xmas lights went dead, so this was purchased to replace it. I checked the output voltage and amps from the old plug and matched it with this one.Worked perfectly, better than taking down all the lights, replacing them and putting up new ones.Saved me a lot of trouble.
