It's a very useful solution for carplay for old cars and good quality. It was able to sustain the gulf heat during summer and didn't glitch often 2 main issue 1 no warranty. 2 not the easiest to pair and sometimes it gave me trouble

EDICIÓN de review 2 DÍAS DESPUÉS: No agarra el GPS, se quedan pasmadas algunas aplicaciones en pantalla como Spotify y no muestra nada, tengo que apagarlo y prenderlo nuevamente, estaba emocionado pero tendré que solicitar la devolución, su función principal de la pantalla es inservible lamentablemente =( ---- El producto es muy bueno, tiene una interfaz muy ágil, me ha tocado ver otras pantallas que son lentas en su interfaz pero esta responde rápidamente. Los cables son lo suficientemente largos, pude pasar el cable medio escondido detrás del cluster , bajarlo por el volante y de ahí al apagador para que no se note tanto el cable. La cámara de reversa también tiene un cable suficientemente largo para mi auto (Ford Fiesta). Lo recomiendo ampliamente, pude agarrarlo incluso a un buen precio, me costo 3900.

I needed an aftermarket CarPlay solution for my car, since taking the stereo deck out of certain Land Rovers creates enormous knock-on problems elsewhere in the electrical. I bought two different Carpuride units, and one with no discernible brand name. So I have been through four of these things, and this one is the best. Cheapest? Nope, but it’s still a decent deal for everything you are getting (I.e. included front and rear cams, and even comes with a TF memory card already installed). The problem with Carpuride’s units is that they never fully worked. I went through many emails with Carpruride, and they sent me multiple free cameras, but they just could not make their own unit operate with any of the backup cams they provided themselves. Save yourself the trouble and just get this. Everything works straight out of the box, exactly as advertised. Touch screen is readable even in direct sun, and very responsive (although not quite as smooth as iPhone itself). Both cams work out of the box, and there is a dedicated button to call both cams up at any time—super useful. I ran the sound through my car’s 3.5mm aux jack, and if your car has an aux jack, that is how you will get the best sound. FM transmitters generally sound terrible, and this one is no better (or worse), so only use as a last resort. I care about sound quality a great deal and have a component setup with two Kicker 12” subs driven by a 2000 watt HiFonics Brutus amp. Playing this unit through the aux for the first time, I actually did a double-take, because this unit SOUNDS significantly better than the Carpuride. Same aux cable, same iPhone, same song—but this unit delivers crisper, brighter sound with a significant improvement over the Carpuride in bass tone as well. I threw on some live ‘Stones (Shine A Light, 2008), and my subs got a vigorous workout. Haven’t tried any club bangers yet, but the bass this delivers should thrill any hip hop fan. This improvement in sound quality means that this unit is just made with higher quality “guts” (internal components and connections) than competitors. Always-on DVR is also an improvement over Carpuride, which advertised this feature, but it never worked on mine (how would it—no front camera!). Phone automatically connects after first pairing effortlessly, about 45 seconds from ignition on until I’m rockin’. Can’t speak to Android, but I assume similar seamless interface. Only downside I can think of is that my dash slopes downward from the windshield, so even with the unit adjusted back as far as possible, it is still not possible to get any back-tilt to the screen; it basically is exactly perpendicular to the ground, when I would prefer if be tilted back maybe 5 or 10 more degrees. I will simply fix this by sanding down one edge of the mount, and then that will solve the only problem I have detected with this unit. Five stars—this is the CarPlay unit you want.

I just purchased another pre owned vehicle that has an old stereo system only with a radio and cd player. I purchased a 2007 Nissan Murano and didn’t want to have an updated radio permanently installed incase I don’t keep the vehicle too long. I’ve tried multiple portable CarPlay brands from Amazon and the previous ones were awful. Sound was horrible and wouldn’t stay connected, finally found this Weston Brand and it’s everything. It comes with a dashboard camera that’s adjustable and a rear camera that can be installed. It allows you to hear the audio from your phone either via Bluetooth, FM radio or AUX connection and all work well and sounds crisp and clear. It doesn’t take long to load up or connect to my phone at all. The customer service is top notch!! They responded right away, provided a one year warranty and are very helpful and friendly. Love them and their product so far. *** stopped working after having it for only nine months, so I haven’t even had it a year. It went out and will not power back on nor respond at all. Ive tried to reach out to the manufacturer regarding a warranty since it’s been a year or a replacement or any resolution and have not gotten any response back from the manufacturer and it’s been over a month. I’m very disappointed with the Customer Service and the quality of this device

El equipo parecería ser la mejor opción pero no es lo que se describe en el producto. Realmente quede muy decepcionado con la calidad . La pantalla no tine brillo automático debes estar cambiándolo para evitar el deslumbre del mismo y si hace sol pues subir el brillos. La calidad del tacto es mala tiende a dar muchos pulsaciones falsas. El retraso de información y Siri es muy notable , el logo de encendido para personalizarlo te piden que envies capturas de amazon etc. , la calidad de materias es de plástico barato .el audio que trasmite al estéreo del auto baja mucho la calidad distorsionando un poco ( en mi caso es un Bosé de agencia amplificado ) en mi opinión es una opción costosa para la calidad que ofrece.
