Second time purchasing this product. This carpet protector works great! It keeps my cat from scratching near the door and protects the carpet perfectly. The plastic is thick yet easy to cut to size. This has been helping out a lot with my cats scratching up the carpet. Unfortunately, it works better on the carpet sections and not so much on the hardwood floor on the other side of the door, but I was expecting that. I am taking a star off because for the prize I would have preferred it to be longer, but overall, I am happy with how it sticks to the carpet and isn't too rough, so it doesn't hurt when walking over it. It is super lightweight too.

Nice quality, plenty thick, easy to cut. I tried a pre-cut product but it didn't fit my threshold width well enough. This product was easy to cut to the correct shape, and stays in place. My kitty leaves me (and my carpet) alone at night now. It has little spikes to hold in carpet, and it holds very well. I'm not sure if it'll affect my tile, but I dont think it will. My plan is to watch it, and if I see any wear on my tile from the spikes, I'll use a felt pad. This seems to be a great product.

I recently purchased carpet protectors to combat the relentless digging and scratching from my four cats at the door jams, and I’m thrilled with the results! These protectors have been a game-changer for preserving my carpets and maintaining my sanity. The protectors were incredibly easy to work with. They arrived precut to fit standard doorways, but I did cut to further customize them. Installation was a breeze: I simply placed them over the carpet at the door jams, pressed them down, and they stayed in place thanks to some Velcro tape I added to the tile side of the floor. No tools or complicated steps were required, and they didn’t damage the carpet when I repositioned them. Appearance wise they look a lot better than the carpet peeling up. They are very Sturdy and I haven’t stumped my toe on them at all. If you’re battling cats who treat your carpets like a personal scratching post, these protectors are a must-have. They’re user-friendly, highly effective, and have saved my doorways from further destruction. I only wish I’d found them sooner!

Used this to protect carpet at the doorway of the spare room that I am keeping kittens in. They had started to pull up the edge tucked under the threshold strip, and shred the carpet. I was able to easily cut the product to size and nail it down with a few small nails. It is clear so it is pretty unobtrusive, and has stayed put and prevented any further damage. I highly recommend!

The quality and ease of purchase and cutting of the mat itself is wonderful. Well made, easy to cut to a doorframe. The prongs in the bottom cling well to the carpet but don’t yank or tear at it. The clear one blends pretty well into the grey carpet so the only thing you notice really is the change of texture. I ordered TWO of these, however, for different owners in the house, one being a different colour, and COULD NOT get them to send me one of the proper colour. I paid for a coloured one that costed more and even returned the first and the second was still just a clear one. Do not bother trying to purchase one other than clear, as you won’t receive it. Issue is not the product, but quality of service.

Works great. The new kitty can scratch at the carpet by the bedroom door all she wants, she can't get to it now! It's tough but doable to cut this with regular scissors.

Works great! My cat was scratching up our carpet near the door - completely stopped it! Stays down no issue. Will buy again if she starts on any other doors. Glitter adds a touch of cuteness too and isnt too much

Kitties were scratching under the door just destroying the new carpet. This took care of that. If you cut as well as the advertisement team did you should probably order a bunch and install as a side job...my cuts were terrible but still works fine.

We have now purchased enough of these for each of our bedroom doorways. They’re easy to trim to correct size and work perfectly to keep our kittens from destroying the carpet when our bedroom doors are closed. Would highly recommend to anyone that experiences this issue.
